The Law Office of Bryce D. Neier is based in Fayetteville, North Carolina and I handle a wide range of civil matters. However, the focus of my practice is domestic law – divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and property division – as well as DUI / DWI and traffic violations. I routinely represent clients throughout Cumberland, Hoke, and Robeson Counties, which includes the cities of Fayetteville and Lumberton, and the town of Raeford. In addition, I am committed to serving military personnel and their families stationed at Fort Bragg, Pope Air Force Base, and overseas.

After graduating from the University of North Carolina Law School with honors, Joel spent two years as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit – one year as a staff attorney and one year as a clerk to the Honorable William B. Traxler, Jr. Joel has since spent his entire career helping clients who faced civil litigation in a wide range of practice areas. During that time, Joel has helped a broad spectrum of clients - from individuals to companies in the manufacturing, communications, healthcare, and financial services industries, just to name a few. In addition to his experience in the trial courts, Joel has helped numerous clients in the appellate courts. Mr. Oliver received his undergraduate and law degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a board certified specialist in Business Bankruptcy Law, certified by the North Carolina State Bar and the American Board of Specialization. Mr. Oliver has received numerous awards including: AV Preeminent Lawyer from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, 2013 Legal Elite’s “Young Guns Award in North Carolina”, 2009-2017 North Carolina “Super Lawyer” and 2009-2017 Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite.” He was the Co-Managing Editor of the North Carolina Bankruptcy Practice Manual in 2006 and has served as a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee for the Bankruptcy Court since 2009. State Bar and working with the firm’s other attorneys handling cases before the N.C. Judicial Standards Commission. Dudley was born in Napoleon, Ohio, where both his parents were attorneys. He received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in 1980 and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1983. He joined the firm in 1988 and became a partner in 1990. He has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was selected as a Top-Rated Lawyer by Top Lawyers of North Carolina for 2014. Dudley is a frequent lecturer on legal ethics, disciplinary matters, and the interplay between civil and criminal proceedings. He has also been a supervising attorney for the clinical program at Wake Forest University School of Law.

Mr. Eisner received his B.A. degree in American Studies from the University of North Carolina, his MPA from the University of North Carolina School of Government and his J. D. from Campbell University School of Law. He is a member of the NC Bar Association. His focus is on business law, bankruptcy, civil litigation, workouts and alternatives to bankruptcy, and foreclosure defense.

Clayton Cheek received his B. S. degree in English from Wake Forest University, his MBA from Wake Forest University and his J. D. from Wake Forest University. He is a member of the NC Bar Association, the American Bar Association and has been recognized by Super Lawyers. His focus is in Chapter 11, 7 and 13 Bankruptcy, Workouts and Alternatives to Bankruptcy, Business Entities, Contracts and Transactions, Estate and Succession Planning and Estate Administration. Before joining Oliver & Cheek, Clayton was a partner in the law firm of Hornthal, Riley, Ellis & Maland, L.L.P. in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, where he worked from 2003 to 2010. Before attending law school Clayton worked in a fund raising capacity with Ducks Unlimited, Inc., in Memphis, Tennessee.

Lew graduated from Clinton High School where he was President of the Senior Class, President of Future Farmers of America, and received the American Farmer degree, the highest degree given by the organization. He was also voted “most likely to succeed” by his senior classmates. He graduated from Campbell University in 1987 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He served as President of the Adam Smith Club, Campbell’s second largest club. While at Campbell, Lew was nominated and placed in “Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.” He is also listed in the United States Directory of “Outstanding Young Men in America.” In 1990, Lew graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law where he served on the Wake Forest Law Review for one year and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Contracts as he was the top scorer for contracts in the law school division. He was also on the Dean’s List in recognition of his academic achievements in law school. Lew is currently the managing partner in the law firm of Daughtry, Woodard, Lawrence & Starling which has offices in Clinton and Smithfield, North Carolina. He is very active in the community and is a member of the Masonic Lodge, Hiram Lodge #98. He is also a Shriner and a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton where he served as a Deacon. He was appointed unanimously by the Sampson County Board of Commissioners to the Board of Trustees of the Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton where he served a six-year term as the youngest member in the history of the Board and was reappointed to the Board for a second term. After serving twelve years, he was unanimously elected as general counsel for Sampson Regional Medical Center and is currently serving in that capacity. Lew serves on the Campbell University Board of Presidential Advisors and is currently serving on the Board of Trustees. He is currently also serving on the Board of the Clinton branch of First Citizens Bank. Lew has served on the Board of the Sampson Community College Foundation and has served as its President. Lew has also served since 2001 and continues to serve as the Chairman of the Clinton/Sampson Airport Authority. In 2001, Lew was elected Mayor of Clinton, and is currently serving his seventh term. While serving as Mayor, Clinton has been selected as an All American City, a national distinction. During his tenure, Lew has received the following awards for community leadership: Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce Multi-Cultural; Business Committee’s Martin Luther King, Jr., Award; Honorary Chairman, March of Dimes Walk America 2003 and 2004. During these two years, the City of Clinton was a co-sponsor of the event and an active participant; Best Elected Official in Sampson County for the years 2003, 2004, and 2008; Recognized by the District 5 Steering Committee for outstanding service above and beyond his duties in the Civic Pride Clean-Up Day on October 7, 2006. He personally drove a trash truck to pick up the trash bags collected by the volunteers on Clean-Up Day. Lew spends countless hours every week attending community events and programs. He often attends weddings, birthday parties, and funerals of citizens of Clinton. He also has an open-door policy and meets with all citizens at their request and personally returns all calls to citizens. In support of the All American City effort in 2009, Lew forgave and donated his salary as Mayor for the endeavor. He was the keynote speaker at the Martin Luther King, Jr., event in January 2010. In 2010, Lew was recognized by the North Carolina Bar Association as a “Citizen Lawyer” for his work in the community. About the Citizen Lawyer Award: The NCBA Citizen Lawyer Award was established in 2007 to recognize lawyers who provide exemplary public service to their communities. Honorees include elected and appointed government officials, coaches, mentors and voluntary leaders of non-profit, civic and community organizations. William Taylor, the founder of Taylor Law Group is a native of Albemarle, NC. He received a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard University, a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a law degree from the University of Georgia. William served in the Army National Guard for four years, including service as a tank commander in the Iraq War.

Nicolle T. Phair received her early education in the Harnett County school district. She later received her undergraduate degree in English at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Attorney Phair then continued her education at North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she earned her Master's Degree in Library Science and Juris Doctorate. After graduating law school, Attorney Phair began representing clients in the Laurinburg and Fayetteville areas. In 1999, Attorney Phair opened her own law office, The Phair Firm. Her areas of practice include family and juvenile law, personal injury, wills and estates and criminal defense.
