Keith was appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court to be one of 12 Assistant Law Examiners in the State serving with the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners. He served from January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2013. As an Assistant Law Examiner, Keith wrote one of the essay questions for each bar exam and graded all responses thereto. He also assisted in reviewing applications for licensure. In addition to serving with the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners, Keith was an adjunct professor for two law schools in the area of bar exam success.
