Alonzo grew up in south Austin and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. After working in real estate, for the Travis County Attorney's Office, and for the Texas Legislature, he has found his home as a personal injury attorney. My Interest in criminal law is rooted in one thing -- my desire to help people. I grew up in Midland, Texas, where I received a bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of Texas. Later, I was awarded an academic scholarship to the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where I made the Dean's List and honor roll and received my law degree. After completing a comprehensive internship at the East Lansing, Michigan, firm of Bodwin & Fuzak, P.C., I worked as a civil contract attorney for Daffer McDaniel, LLP in Austin, Texas on a large class action lawsuit. Afterward, I served as a criminal and family law attorney at an established law firm in Georgetown, Texas. The latter experience found me defending clients on the wide spectrum of criminal law charges I address in my current independent practice. My success in this area included helping clients suffering from mental illness receive a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity. The tremendous experience and knowledge I gained in daily negotiations with local prosecutors and courts combined with my ongoing desire to help people protect their liberties in the face of criminal charges now drive everything I do in my own law office. Justin D. She holds a bachelor’s degree in government from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 1997. Mai Mullen Milton is a native of Pontiac, Michigan but has resided in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas with her family for the last 17 years. She is an alumnus of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minored in Communications; She was active in various clubs and activities, such as residence council, student government, and collegiate cheer. She holds significant professional experience in the legal field and attended Western Michigan University- Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in Lansing, Michigan. While at Thomas M. Cooley she participated in Moot Court and was a member of one of two teams to go undefeated in the oral argument competition. She graduated Law School with her Juris Doctorate with a litigation concentration and went into private practice founding her own firm. Her prior legal experience includes serving as General Counsel & Director of Legal & Grievance for the Dallas Teachers Union, serving as a managing partner, and serving as founding attorney of her own firm. Ms. Milton’s primary areas include family, education and civil litigation. She is licensed to practice law in both Michigan and Texas and licensed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas, US District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.
