Antonio “Tony” Ramirez joins Germer’s Houston office after working for a national law firm, representing both private and public employers in employment matters of all types in state and federal courts. Ben Zinnecker was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University, where he received a B.A. in Philosophy in 2005. After law school, Ben spent 9 years practicing law at firms in Amarillo and Houston, handling a variety of civil litigation matters. Ben then returned to Austin when he joined Germer in 2018. Bill Abbott leads his team of aggressive workers’ compensation lawyers at Abbott & Associates. Carmen Jo Rejda-Ponce (“CJ”) is a Principal in Germer’s Houston office, but her practice takes her all across Texas. She regularly counsels and defends both private and public sector clients on matters involving employment issues and civil (constitutional) rights. She handles matters from the pre-claim and pre-suit stage, through litigation, and through appeal. She is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. CJ focuses on a broad range of labor and employment litigation, including, discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation, disability accommodation, workers’ compensation retaliation, on-the-job injuries, and wage and hour issues. She has represented private and public sector clients in employment-related disputes before federal and state courts, federal and state administrative agencies, and arbitrators. CJ counsels private and public sector employers on labor and employment concerns, including, addressing medical leave, developing and revising workplace policies and procedures, investigating and addressing employee complaints, conducting employee disciplines and terminations, drafting employment, separation, and other agreements, and determining proactive solutions to workplace problems while avoiding litigation. Chad Castille is a Principal in the Houston office of Germer and concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation. Chad has represented individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 500 corporations in a diverse array of civil litigation matters including, but not limited to, cases involving medical negligence, business disputes and commercial litigation, commercial and residential construction, product liability, premises liability, professional liability, oil and gas, and wrongful death and personal injury. Chad’s experience handling wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury matters includes numerous cases involving medical malpractice, product liability, and premises accidents. Chad’s commercial litigation experience includes cases involving construction litigation, tortious interference, royalty litigation, lease termination cases, disputes arising under operating agreements and breach of contract. Charlie Henke is the founding partner of Henke Law Firm, LLP, the predecessor to Henke, Williams & Boll, LLP. The firm was founded in 1992.
