This was not a summer job between semesters of college, this was his living. At this job, he ran a machine that dipped hot pieces of metal into liquid plastic and he came home every day dirty and smelling of burnt plastic fumes. This job led to another factory job where he worked 3rd shift. During this time, he went to class at Miami Hamilton often with nothing more than a thirty-minute nap in the parking lot.
