Randy A. Skinner understands the stress of unemployment and economic uncertainty. Twenty years ago, with a new wife and a mountain of educational debt, he was downsized from his very first job during a recession. Even with three degrees from the University of South Carolina (B.S., M.B.A., and J.D.), his employment prospects looked bleak, so Mr. Skinner took the only route available to him: He started his own firm.

As a young lawyer, Michael spent several years working for two of Atlanta’s premier insurance defense firms. Michael Melonakos was born in Monroe, Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University, where he majored in finance and international business and was the president of his fraternity. After graduation, Mike headed down to the University of Georgia for law school, and he’s been in the South ever since. While at UGA Law, Mike served as a notes editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property, was a teacher’s assistant to first-year law students in Contracts, and co-founded the Business Law Society. He credits his work ethic and compassion for our clients to his father and grandparents. When not working for his personal injury clients, Michael volunteers for the Greenville Bar Association. David grew up in Greenville and has seen our city grow exponentially. He is very proud to call Greenville his home. He graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in physics and continued that discipline at Florida State University where he earned his M. S. and Ph. D. degrees in Experimental Molecular Physics. He then obtained his J. D. degree in law, also from FSU and was admitted to the State Bar in 1977. In 1984 David opened his own practice and, since 1995, has specialized in the Tax Problem Resolution field. David’s extensive knowledge of mathematics helps him give his clients a distinct advantage in resolving their IRS problems. David is married and has one adult daughter, Brittany, who has her BA from Clemson and MBA degree from Liberty University. David and his family are active members of Scenic Hills Baptist Church where he serves as the church’s legal counsel.

Chris Edwards is the managing attorney for the Upstate of South Carolina office of Moss & Associates Attorneys, PA. Chris served in the military before attending the University of South Carolina where he obtained his A.S. and B.A. degrees. After his undergraduate studies, Chris worked in public safety in Charleston, SC before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. His first job as an attorney was for Moore, Taylor & Thomas in West Columbia, SC where he practiced criminal, civil, and family law. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Mr. Haskins graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and interned with the South Carolina House of Representatives, the South Carolina Senate, and worked as a Special Assistant in the Public Affairs Division for the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General. Mr. Haskins then attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, where he obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. At Florida Coastal, he was Parliamentarian of the Student Bar Association Legislature and Chief Justice of the Honor Court. Having graduated Florida Coastal in two and one-half years, Mr. Haskins passed the Alaska Bar Examination and became a Member of the Alaska Bar Association. After Florida Coastal, he attended American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., where he obtained his Master of Law (LL.M.) degree in Law & Government, specializing in Law, Politics, and Legislation, with a concentration on Civil & Constitutional Rights. While at American, he interned in the United States Senate and was a Legal Fellow for United States Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC). Joel Hamilton is a co-founder of the Schiller and Hamilton law firm and manages the operations of the statewide firm’s office in Rock Hill, SC.
