Chase Keibler grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA in a blue-collar town before he and his family moved to South Carolina in 2013. Chase holds true to his core values: hard work through teamwork and drive, justice through vision and planning, and service through commitment to others. Chase graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (“IUP”), located about 60 miles outside of Pittsburgh. While at IUP, Chase met his wife, Laura, played ACHA Division I hockey, and served as the captain of the hockey team his senior year. Chase graduated IUP with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Pre-law and a minor degree in Political Science, and he was an ACHA Academic All American his junior and senior year. During his sophomore year at IUP, he started the IUP Pre-Law Society and served as its President for three years. For six years throughout the final years of high school and while getting his undergraduate degree, Chase worked as a roofer laying shingles. Following IUP, Chase studied law at The University of South Carolina School of Law. He graduated in the top 15% of the class, cum laude, and Order of the Wig and Robe and served as the Senior Articles Editor of the South Carolina Law Review and as a Judicial Extern for Judge Michelle Childs in the District of South Carolina. Following law school, Chase began his career as a trial attorney at Nexsen Pruet, LLC – one of the region’s largest and well-respected law firms. While at Nexsen Pruet, Chase represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court and had a diverse litigation practice, handling matters related to federal antitrust cartels, unfair trade practice, complex commercial and business litigation, personal injury and related insurance actions, and land use litigation. Chase successfully represented businesses in multi-million-dollar disputes including prosecuting price-fixing antitrust cartels, breach of contract claims, and bad faith insurance claims for insurer’s failure to cover or defend an insured. Chase also represented individual plaintiffs who suffered personal injuries including dog bites, bed bugs, and injuries caused by the government. Importantly, Chase represented insurance companies in truck accidents and car accidents. While representing insurance companies, Chase learned how they value cases, he saw how they treat injured individuals, and he learned how they operate. Chase is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina. He is a proven trial attorney and has considerable courtroom experience, trying numerous bench and jury trials to verdict. Derek is a native of Lancaster, South Carolina and a graduate of Lancaster High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2007 from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. While at Presbyterian, Derek was named to the Dean’s List, worked in the student center, and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. Immediately following undergraduate school, Derek sought his Juris Doctor degree from Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, North Carolina. While attending law school, Derek studied abroad at the St. Mary’s University Institute on World Legal Problems, where he studied under an international faculty, including United States Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito. After completing his education, Derek decided that the best use of his legal education would be to serve his hometown area. He began his legal career at a small firm in Lancaster, where he represented clients on a broad range of matters, including domestic, civil, criminal, and probate issues. Derek joins the Schiller & Hamilton team to head the firm’s newly reopened Lancaster Office to continue serving his hometown. He will focus his practice on family law and probate matters, as well as personal injury and accidents. Derek is an avid outdoorsman when not practicing law, and enjoys hunting and fishing throughout the year. He was awarded the Eagle Scout rank in 2001 while a member of Troop 72 of the Boy Scouts of America in Lancaster. Derek currently serves as an Area Chairman of Ducks Unlimited, leading the Lancaster County Chapter’s committee of volunteers to raise money and awareness to preserve and protect wetland habitat. In 2013, Derek completed the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce’s “Leadership Lancaster” program, a course designed to educate potential community leaders about the history, needs, and goals of Lancaster County. Derek and his wife, Natalie, are active in their church and community and enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Wes represents individuals and companies in matters in state and federal court and also regularly advise clients in transactions, corporate, employment, and compliance matters. Ask J. He remained at the public defender’s office for six years, handling the full spectrum of criminal defense cases, ranging from the most serious felonies to misdemeanors. He tried numerous jury trials in both general sessions court and magistrates’ court, and was one of the lead defense attorneys in the first human-trafficking case ever brought before the South Carolina Grand Jury. In 2015, Bell received intensive additional training in the art of jury persuasion at the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute.

Steven E. Goldberg followed his father into a career of law by joining the Steinberg Law Firm in 1993. As he explains, “Growing up, I was impressed to see my father working hard and his clients being truly thankful for that hard work.” Now in practice for more than 25 years, Steven has represented clients in cases involving on-the-job injuries and automobile wrecks, and has expanded his practice representing families of those who have had loved ones injured or killed in nursing home neglect. David Conway was born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised on Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina, attending Porter-Gaud School and Bishop England High School. David received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, where he received Dean’s Honors. While at Case Western, David was a leader in the school’s renowned Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic, providing aid to indigent clients. While acting in that capacity, David successfully arbitrated his client’s predatory lending claim. Prior to founding Miller|Conway, David worked as an attorney for a Chicago, Illinois-based boutique trial law firm, which was retained by some of the largest law firms in the world to litigate multi-million dollar disputes between Fortune 500 companies. Edward Pritchard was born in Columbia, South Carolina, on March 17, 1962. Edward graduated from the University of South Carolina (B.S. 1984), and the University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D. 1987). While in law school, Edward was on the National Dean’s Honor List and was a member of the Order of Wig and Robe. He was a law clerk for the Honorable Randall T. Bell, South Carolina Court of Appeals. In August of 1988, Edward joined the law firm of Sinkler & Boyd, P.A., where he remained nearly twelve years, the last six of which he was a partner. In 2002, Edward formed The Pritchard Law Firm, which has expanded and become Pritchard & Elliott, Attorneys And Counselors At Law, LLC. Edward is admitted to the South Carolina Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, as well as the South Carolina Bar Association. He is currently a member of the S.C. Bar Association Nominating Committee, a member of the Charleston County Bar Association Executive Committee, as well as a member of the S.C. Bar Association House of Delegates. Edward also serves on the board of the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority and is a former member of the City of Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals – Zoning and former chairman of the City of Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals – Site Design.
