Matthew worked in corporate sales and management after graduating from Mars Hill University but found he was searching for more. Fueled by the desire to help others, he made the life-changing decision to pursue a career in law. He went to Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude. Then, eager to give back to his community, Matthew served as a Senior Assistant Public Defender in South Carolina for two years.
