Amy completed her undergraduate work at Mississippi University for Women, graduating in 1995 with a B.A. in English, with honors. While at the “W”, Amy was named the University’s first Eudora Welty Scholar. She received her juris doctor degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 1998 and was admitted to practice in the state of Mississippi. Her practice focuses mainly on workers’ compensation defense, representing employers and carriers in matters before the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission and pursuing subrogation recovery before circuit courts throughout the state, as well as estate matters. Amy was named one of the Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 in 2005 and the T. George Kelly volunteer of the year for her work with the Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program of the Bar in 2016. Jared Hawkins was born and raised in Belzoni, Mississippi. After completing his undergraduate education at the University of Mississippi in 2008, where he studied mathematics, he furthered his education at Mississippi College School of Law, where he graduated in December 2010.
