Pepper, a native of Charleston, Mississippi, completed his undergraduate work at the University of Mississippi, where he received a B.B.A. He received his juris doctor degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1989, and he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. He practiced in Birmingham, Alabama, for 2 years representing title insurance companies, before moving to Jackson, Mississippi, in August 1991, where his practice consisted mainly of general civil litigation. Pepper joined Markow Walker, P.A., in 1993 and practices mainly in the workers’ compensation law division.
