Jason Moore is a life long resident of Central Virginia. He graduated from Uva where he majored in History, and worked at the school paper. He took a year off between undergraduate and law school to work as a legislative assistant at the Virginia General Assembly. He then attended T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. As part of his studies at Richmond, he did a semester aboard studying at Emmanuel College at Cambridge University in Great Britain. For the last twenty-one years, Jason has practiced criminal law from the Carolina line to north of Richmond and from New Kent to Nelson. He has worked on almost every type of criminal case imaginable from traffic tickets, reckless driving, DUI or driving revoked to larceny, embezzlement, breaking and entering to various violent sex offenses, to murder. He has tried 30 jury trials including two murder jury trials. Jason is admitted to practice in all Virginia courts and has argued cases before the Virginia Supreme Court and Virginia Court of Appeals. He is also admitted the the US District Court, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Bankruptcy bar and has conducted hearing before Social Security Administration Judges. Corey Pollard is the managing partner of Jenkins Block & Associates‘ Richmond office and heads the Virginia Workers’ Compensation department of the firm. Mr. Pollard focuses his practice on representing individuals who have suffered injuries at work or through the fault of others, including car accident, motorcycle wreck, construction accident, medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. Born and raised in Newport News, Virginia, Mr. Pollard grew up in a construction family. Prior to joining Jenkins Block & Associates, Mr. Pollard worked as an insurance defense attorney where he gained valuable experience and training while representing many of the nation’s largest employers and insurance carriers. Mr. Pollard’s wife, Leigh, is a Human Resources Manager who provides “real world” advice and insight on employment and labor law matters. The Pollards have two children, Knox and Rivers, who keep them busy and running around, and a 5-pound dog named Simba. They are members of Bon Air Baptist Church. In his spare time, Mr. Pollard enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and playing pickup basketball and golf. When he is in the mood for punishment, he roots for his favorite football team, the Washington Redskins.
