Daniel was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas, and he holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in International Business, from the University of Texas at El Paso. Daniel holds a double certification in Healthcare Compliance and as a Compliance and Ethics Professional. Daniel manages the Law Office of Daniel R. Crumby, LLC, where he focuses on complex litigation and business law including white-collar defense; defense of corporate, and individual clients in state and federal courts around the country; medical malpractice; nursing home and elder abuse; healthcare compliance and investigations; personal injury, and criminal law. Prior to starting his practice, Daniel worked at a mid-sized law firm in Atlanta, and he specialized in criminal and civil healthcare-related white-collar cases, medical malpractice, healthcare compliance, internal investigations, and defending insurance companies and their insurers in complex cases, including lawsuits filed against skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. Jefferson M. Allen works primarily on business litigation (including shareholder/partner disputes, business torts, and employee non-compete litigation), construction and real estate litigation (including negligent/defective construction and mold claims), and creditors’ rights/bankruptcy matters. Mr. Allen also has significant litigation experience involving consumer law issues and consumer protection statutes, including the Federal Truth in Lending Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the Georgia Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Erin Elliott is the managing attorney of Elliott Immigration Law LLC. She focuses her practice 100% on immigration law. After attending Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, Erin continued her education at Loyola Law School in New Orleans. Catherine grew up in Flowery Branch, Georgia, graduating from West Hall High School. She attended the University of Georgia, and graduated cum laude with a B.B.A. in Business Management and a minor in Spanish. Catherine attended law school at Mercer University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude, at the top of her class. She was a student editor for both the Mercer Law Review and the Journal of Southern Legal History, and clerked for various judges both in and after law school. She subsequently spent nearly a decade working for one of the nation's largest law firms before co-founding Payne & du Toit. She is licensed in both Georgia and Florida, and has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star. She also is a contributing author of Georgia Products Liability, a practitioner's guide to products liability law in Georgia. Catherine believes in giving back to the community. She remains active in juvenile justice issues, recently finishing her service on the Board for youthSpark, Inc., a nonprofit working to transform the lives of youth vulnerable to abuse and exploitation.
