Joseph is a criminal defense attorney and retired U.S. Marine Corps officer. He has been defending the Constitution since 1987. After a 27-year career in the Marines, Joseph retired and attended law school at the S. J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. While in law school, Joseph was heavily involved in the college’s clinical program. Joseph interned in criminal law at the Salt Lake Legal Defender Association, providing public defender services in Salt Lake Justice and District Courts. He also interned in immigration law with Holy Cross Ministries Immigration Law division where he assisted victims of crime to gain legal status in the United States. At Collins Rupp, Joseph provides criminal defense, bankruptcy, and family law services throughout Utah. Joseph represents clients in municipal justice courts and state district courts on matters ranging from simple infractions and misdemeanors to first degree felonies. In addition to his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah, Joseph also holds a Master’s Degree in International Studies from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from Weber State University. In his “free” time, Joseph enjoys home improvement projects and spending time outdoors. He is also a volunteer attorney at the Veteran’s Legal Clinic at the Salt Lake City VA.

Diana has been a mediator for twelve years, since 2012.
