Prior to joining Hepworth & Murray in 2016, Tyler worked in the Office of General Counsel – International for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he worked on a variety of legal matters ranging from income tax issues, immigration, real estate transactions, and employment matters. Although he enjoyed the comforts of corporate life, Tyler’s real passion is advocacy, whether in the courtroom or the across the negotiation table. Tyler earned his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he received high marks in trial advocacy and was known around school for being a bit of trial junky. While in law school he worked in the public defender’s office as a court-certified law student where he represented three criminal defendants in jury trials before he even graduated. Also during law school, he received expert training in Alternative Dispute Resolution through the nationally ranked Oregon ADR Center. Born and raised in Davis County, Tyler takes advantage of all that Utah has to offer from the great culture and entertainment found in our cities to the amazing outdoor recreation that is only an hour or so away. In his free time, Tyler enjoys being active in his community and spending time with family.

Thomas Weber is an aggressive, careful, and detail oriented defense attorney and litigator. Mr. Weber also takes specific consulting cases involving international law. Mr. Weber has worked for the international law firm, Anderson & Anderson LLP, in Shanghai, China. He has worked on civil litigation cases involving real property, contracts, business law, bankruptcy, and intellectual property and has defended hundreds of criminal cases. Mr. Weber served as an LDS missionary to Taichung, Taiwan from 2000-2002. Mr. Weber obtained his law degree from the University of Wyoming in 2009, and his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Utah in English in 2004. He holds an international law certificate from the East China University of Politics and Law. Mr. Weber is admitted to the Utah State Bar. Mr. Weber speaks Chinese and English. He currently resides in Sandy, Utah, but travels often to China and the Philippines.

Chris is a Utah-licensed attorney who works exclusively in personal injury, auto accident, and general negligence matters. Chris is a combat veteran (he served in Iraq for twelve months), husband, and proud father of two energetic children. After graduating from the University of Utah law school in 2008, he worked as an associate for a large Northern California law firm, where he litigated civil and domestic cases, including high-profile wrongful death matters. After returning home to Utah, Chris worked with a small local firm, where he honed his skills in personal injury and auto-accident matters. Now, he practices exclusively in dog-bite and auto-accident cases.

Josh began practicing law at the international law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago in 2002. There he focused his practice on preparation and trial before federal and state courts of cases involving a broad range of business-oriented substantive law issues. Those issues included breach of contract, torts, products liability, employment matters, construction litigation, real estate and insurance overage. From 2006 to 2012, Josh continued his litigation practice in Atlanta, most recently at Rogers & Hardin, LLP. He has experience defending financial institutions, manufacturers and sellers of consumer products and services, and other large corporate clients. He has represented them in individual suits, class actions, qui tam claims and other complex cases in venues across the nation, including courts located in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, California, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, Texas, Delaware, New Mexico, Louisiana and Utah. Josh has also cost-effectively resolved numerous commercial disputes for clients by pursuing creative litigation strategies, and by obtaining favorable results short of trial through arbitration, mediation and negotiation. Since moving to Heber Valley in 2012, Joshua has expanded his practice to include criminal defense, estate planning and business transactions. Josh is fluent in Swedish and speaks Dutch as well. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, Georgia and Utah as well as several federal district and appellate courts across the country. Josh and his wife, Dagmar, who has a Ph.D in biomechanical engineering, are the proud parents of four children and love living in beautiful Heber Vall

Dan began practicing law in 1989 with the Salt Lake City law firm of Kimball, Parr, Crockett and Waddoups. He subsequently joined his father-in-law in his practice in Heber Valley. Shortly thereafter, he was asked to join the County Attorney’s staff in Wasatch County, and served as Deputy County Attorney. Dan became the County Attorney in 1993, and served as the chief prosecutor and civil attorney for Wasatch County. As such, he successfully prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases in state and local courts. He also helped write the land-use code for Wasatch County and represented the County in all civil matters. In 1999, the County Commissioners asked Dan to oversee the establishment and development of several special service districts in Wasatch County. Dan served as general manager and attorney for up to six special service districts for approximately 16 years. In that capacity, Dan oversaw the financing and construction of over $200 million worth of water infrastructure. He has worked on numerous land-use, development and water projects in and around Wasatch County. Dan grew up in Wyoming, but has lived and practiced law in the Heber Valley for the past 25 years. He and his wife, BettyJo, are the parents of seven children. He enjoys backpacking, mountaineering and poking around in old mines. He speaks some Japanese, and is working on learning French.
