Ari R. Mr. Karpf is a member of the bars of state courts in Pennsylvania, the state courts in New Jersey, the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court of New Jersey. Although Mr. Karpf focuses primarily on employment and labor law, he also has a very strong background in complex criminal litigation at the trial and appellate levels. Attorney Leon started practicing law because of his interest in real estate and criminal defense work. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the Oakland campus of the University of Pittsburgh. He went to Duquesne’s School of Law downtown in order to obtain his Juris Doctor. Corey is a licensed real estate agent. In Law School, he worked at law firms which focused on a wide array law including civil, criminal and real estate law. Prior to joining Stoner Law, Corey interned at the Public Defender’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office of Allegheny County. He obtained his real estate license and opened his own company dedicated to fixing and renting out real property. After work, you can find him either at the gym, or renovating one of his homes. He prefers to do the improvements himself. He is a long-time Pittsburgher. Living in Clinton, Pennsylvania near the Pittsburgh International Airport and later moving to Beaver County; but never being far from the city.

Kajal Alemo is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of both the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice, where she serves on the Social Security Executive Council. Before joining Pond Lehocky, Ms. Alemo practiced for a large Philadelphia law firm, where she assisted senior counsel with the coding of potentially discoverable corporate documents, including privilege determinations for a high profile merger. She was also co-editor of a legal textbook regarding law and business enterprise. A graduate of Villanova University School of Law, Ms. Alemo was the Villanova Law student director of Face to Face Legal Clinic for the Pro Bono Society. She interned at Face to Face during all three years of law school. She was also a student attorney at the Villanova Civil Justice Clinic where she handled her first Social Security case. Prior to law school, Ms. Alemo obtained a B.A. in Psychology from George Washington University, graduating in 2008 on the Dean’s List. Taylor A. Gerchman founded Life Legal after working for several small to mid-size insurance law firms in the Philadelphia area where she proved herself to be a hard-working and dedicated attorney. From the beginning of her legal career, Taylor has focused solely on insurance litigation with an emphasis on group, whole or term life insurance claims, beneficiary disputes, and ERISA claim appeals. Taylor prides herself on recovering millions of dollars in life insurance benefits on behalf of her clients so far, and intends to more than double that amount in the coming years. Prior to becoming an attorney, Taylor earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
