Alan C. Shafner was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from the University of Colorado with Distinction in 1975, and received his law degree from The Houston College of Law, Houston, Texas in 1978. After graduating from law school, Alan was a trial attorney for the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office in Golden, Colorado from 1979 through June 1983. During this time, Alan was the lead prosecutor on several high profile felony cases, including murder and sexual assault cases. In 1983, Alan joined the law firm of Fogel, Keating and Wagner as an associate, and later became a named partner. After 28 successful years, Alan opened his own personal injury law firm. In 2011, The Law Offices of Alan C. Shafner was formed, serving a variety of personal injury litigation cases.

Eric developed his passion for law as an undergraduate in Austin, Texas. During law school at the University of Indiana at Bloomington, Eric focused his studies on business law and contracts because he knew that he wanted to assist small and medium sized business owners realize their entrepreneurial dreams. After law school, Eric completed his M.B.A. in Germany at the University of Stuttgart in 2008. As an attorney Eric has experience practicing in front of the Colorado Court of Appeals and in courts throughout the Denver metro area. Eric has also successfully navigated the bureaucratic morass of federal and Colorado state administrative law on behalf of his clients. He has also dedicated a portion of his time pro-bono legal work with Denver Metro Volunteer Lawyer’s Family Law Court Program, a program which assists and represents litigants in family proceedings who may otherwise be unable to afford representation. Eric understands the complexities of starting and maintaining a business and can guide a small business through the start up process, acquisition of capital, employer/employee relationships, changing business entity status, mergers, and handling international disputes. As a German speaker and a former resident of Germany, Eric also has an advanced understanding of German business practices and economics that he uses to assist clients as they develop their businesses in the German market.

Jason Ross is a seasoned attorney with nearly a decade of legal experience, delivering strategic and compassionate representation tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. Licensed for almost 10 years, Jason brings a strong foundation in both criminal and civil litigation, having successfully handled cases across Colorado and Florida. His deep understanding of courtroom dynamics and client advocacy now informs his work helping families and business owners make thoughtful, forward-looking legal decisions. Jason earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University and also holds a Master’s degree in Asian Studies from the same institution, complementing his global perspective and analytical skills. He completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of South Florida.
