He has substantial experience in documenting loans, litigating collection matters in both state and federal courts, and representing creditors and debtors in out-of-court workouts and bankruptcies. He has also represented mortgagees in more than one hundred foreclosure actions in state and federal courts.
Mr. Pinney's experience in drafting and negotiating loan documents provides him with insight into the enforcement of the documents (whether in or out of court) should the need exist. Conversely, his experience in litigating collection and bankruptcy matters provides him with a unique perspective when negotiating and drafting transactional documentation.
