Robert G. Swan is a former Assistant Prosecutor in Mercer County who now has a general law office that places emphasis on Criminal, Family, Divorce, Bankruptcy and Real Estate law.

Partner, Nicholas J. Repici, is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Law; Public Entity Defense; Education Law; and Land Use, Planning and Zoning Law Practice Groups. Mr. Repici has served as Labor Counsel, General Counsel and Special Litigation Counsel for numerous municipalities, counties, authorities, school boards and other public entities throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. In addition, Mr. Repici counsels employers regarding workplace policies and procedures, employee leave issues and wage and hour compliance. He handles complex commercial litigation involving: commercial real estate and land use matters, construction matters, contract and business disputes, fraud and misrepresentation and public contract and bid protests. Mr. Repici's education law practice includes representing universities, public school districts and charter schools in matters involving tenure dismissal, non-renewal, employee disciplinary actions, employment litigation, public records disclosure, public meeting compliance, public bidding, board governance and ethical issues. Mr. Repici is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Durand Foundation and serves as an Executive Board Member for the Moorestown Youth Baseball Association.

Upon graduation from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in New York, classmates Evan N. Pickus and Howard S. Landsberg sought to fulfill a vision- the formation of their own law firm. Originally intending to concentrate in the areas of tax and estates, Mr. Pickus opened his office in East Brunswick, New Jersey, and Mr. Landsberg opened his office in Long Island, New York, with the intention of working together to serve the needs of residents of the respective areas. Having a prior background in accounting, Mr. Landsberg felt after a period of time that his aspirations could be better fulfilled in the area of taxation and advisory accountancy. He, therefore, left the practice and went on to a very successful career in those areas. With his practice already established in New Jersey, Mr. Pickus decided to maintain the firm and has continued practicing under the Pickus & Landsberg name since 1994. Circumstances often dictate the direction of business. Contacts and clients needing real estate services tended to gravitate to the firm, and Mr. Pickus found his niche in the area of real estate law. Over the past twenty-five years, however, real estate clients developed other needs, requiring the firm to expand its areas of practice. We currently serve our clients, not only with real estate matters but in the areas of bankruptcy, family law, corporate matters, civil litigation, and estate planning. Robert H. Johnson has spent his career representing clients in U.S. Bankruptcy Court and New Jersey insolvency proceedings. Prior to founding this firm, Mr. Johnson practiced at a premier boutique bankruptcy firm in northern New Jersey. Robert was a member of the NJ Bankruptcy Inn of Courts and was recognized as a New Jersey Super lawyer “Rising Star.” After graduation from Rutgers School of Law-Camden, he served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Raymond A. Hayser, The State of New Jersey Tax Court, Newark, NJ.. Outside of the office, Robert volunteered at local high schools to teach about the importance of financial responsibility through the NJ Bankruptcy Law Foundation and NJ Higher Education Student Assistant Authority Joint Financial Literacy Project. His main enjoyment is spending time with his wife and daughters, as well as playing basketball, softball and golf.

Michael Otto was born and raised in Iowa. Mr. Otto received a B.S. in Marketing from Iowa State University in 1990, where he was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. He went on to graduate from Drake University School of Law with a J.D. in 1994. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the New Jersey Bar Association, and the Iowa Bar Association. He has been practicing law in New Jersey since 1996, and has been located in the same office space in Piscataway for the last ten years. In addition to his work as a general practice lawyer, Mr. Otto is also an active volunteer in his Piscataway community. He coaches a variety of sports for the Piscataway Recreation Department and routinely volunteers with the Cub Scouts in Morris County.
