QUESTIONNAIRE
I am representing a veteran who lives Mississippi. We began his case in May of 2011. It has been an ongoing process. The regulations of the Department of Veterans Affairs can be quite daunting and difficult to follow. We have achieved a tremendous result for this veteran and his entire family.
How did you build a successful practice?I return calls, texts and e-mails very promptly and am very concerned about the needs of my clients. Sometimes the client's issue cannot be resolved in one call, but I can put them at ease in the initial fact-finding conversation.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?A client always should deal with an attorney who does not hide behind e-mails and texts. There is no substitute for honest dialogue that is conducted in the utmost of privacy and confidence.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?It is critical for the attorney to have expertise in the eventual forum for the client's legal situation.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?My goal is to secure a simple understanding of the individual's problem and make suggestions of possible avenues to pursue in their case.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?A simple but complete and honest outline of the legal issue confronting the client.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?I believe I give one-on-one attention to each client and truly work hard to resolve their issue to their satisfaction. I am happy to work out a monthly payment schedule to assist the client's financial needs.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?It gives me satisfaction knowing I helped someone in a situation that they could not handle alone or without legal assistance.
What are your other interests in addition to law?I enjoy college sports, especially SEC football.
Are you involved in your community?I attend my church regularly and participate as an active member in my church community group.
