He has been practicing criminal defense law and DWI law in Kingwood, Houston, The Woodlands and throughout Harris and Montgomery Counties since he began practicing over 15 years ago. He has handled over 500 DWI and criminal cases with many of them going to trial. He has had his office in the Kingwood, Northeast Harris County area since he began practicing law in 1993. Mr. Williams attended the University of Houston Central Campus where he earned a bachelor's degree in Biology and then attended law school at the South Texas College of Law in Houston, TX where he earned his J.D. degree in Juris Prudence.

Mr. Williams practices exclusively criminal law which encompasses Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), theft, sex offenses, assault, robbery, juvenile cases and white collar crimes including, bank fraud, wire fraud, money laundering in addition to many other areas of criminal defense law. Mr. Williams' practice also includes federal crimes and appeals of federal crimes. He is licensed to practice in all courts in the State of Texas as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans, LA.  He has also become Board Certified in Criminal Law in the state of Texas.

Mr. Williams is an experienced trial attorney and has tried many DWI cases as well as other misdemeanor and felony criminal cases in both the State and Federal Court. He has also argued on appeal cases before the U. S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Williams is experienced in the area of criminal law and DWI law and also represents people with traffic tickets in the Northeast Harris County area. He is well versed in traffic and DWI law.

Mr. Williams is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National College of DUI Defense, and the Northeast Harris County Bar association, where is has been a guest speaker on criminal related topics.

Mr. Williams deals directly with his clients on all criminal matters and does not delegate any duties to subordinates in his office. All clients speak directly to Mr. Williams regarding their cases. Likewise he returns all calls the same day if he is not in trial. Mr. Williams attends all court hearings and settings with his clients and does not delegate this duty to anyone else.

Unlike other attorneys who practice family and/or civil law and only dabble in criminal law, Mr. Williams practices exclusively criminal defense law and is very knowledgeable on all criminal topics. Mr. Williams is an experienced trial attorney with years of criminal jury trial experience. Clients need not fear that Mr. Williams will plead them out just to avoid a jury trial. He will represent his clients to the utmost of his ability. Mr. Williams has tried cases in Harris, Montgomery, Brazoria and San Jacinto Counties as well as in the U.S. Federal Court for the Southern District of Texas.
