Tony Hoyle | Brooklyn Social Security Lawyer

I grew up in Kentucky and started working odd jobs at age 12. Before I became a lawyer, I was employed as a furniture refinisher, a groundskeeper, a liquor store clerk, and some other occupations, as well. I went to law school when I was 30 years old, and I know what it feels like to lose a job when you least expect it—when you don’t want or need it to happen.

In April 2002, I began focusing my legal career on Social Security disability law. Since then, I have represented hundreds of clients at hearings held by Social Security administrative law judges all over the country. I have also assisted many disability claimants who are at the very beginning of the application process, or who need to file an appeal to keep an application going after it has been denied.

My clients come from all walks of life, a broad diversity of educational and work backgrounds, and with medical histories that feature a wide variety of physical and mental conditions. I have dedicated a great deal of my life to reading their medical records, understanding the medical terminology contained in their medical charts, and communicating with medical professionals about all sorts of diagnoses and treatments.

After working for a large disability firm for fifteen years, I run my own law office now.
