introduction
Following his work with that firm's litigation and business practice, Mr. Russell returned to his native Southwest Virginia to become Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for Buchanan County, where he prosecuted hundreds of cases ranging from misdemeanor traffic offenses to serious felony drug charges. He also taught trial advocacy and legal writing at the Appalachian School of Law.
Bruce returned to the private sector in 2002, joining the law firm that would become know as Bolling Hearl & Russell. There, his practice focused on such areas as criminal law, domestic relations, collections, and general litigation.
As the senior attorney with Bruce H. Russell, II, P.C., Mr. Russell continues to serve a diverse group of clients in a wide range of cases throughout Southwest Virginia.
Bruce H. Russell, II resides in Abingdon, VA with his wife, Shannon, and two sons, Clark and Eamon.
