Franklin I. Miroff, Attorney

Mr. Miroff, founding partner of the firm, is a Certified Family Law Specialist and has been a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1980, as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys since 1979. A nationally recognized authority in adoption law, Mr. Miroff has published numerous articles and a book on the subject. He has lectured at family law seminars throughout his career and published articles in The American Journal of Family Law, Indiana Chapter of the Journal of Pediatrics, The Family Law Advocate of the American Bar Association and Res Gestae, the Indiana State Bar Journal. Mr. Miroff has served on a number of professional boards, including the Board of Managers of the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis Alumni Association. Listed in the Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White) since its inception, Mr. Miroff has also been featured in Indianapolis Monthly magazine as one of the top divorce attorneys in Indianapolis and was recognized as a Super Lawyer by Indianapolis Monthly in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Early in his career he served as attorney for the Indiana Secretary of State, a Deputy Attorney General and Probate Commissioner, but he has limited his practice to family law, including divorce litigation, adoption and mediation, for more than 30 years. He resides with his wife in Indianapolis and is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis.
