After passing the Illinois State Bar Exam, he began his legal career working with the Illinois Attorney General’s office as an Assistant Attorney General. Since then, he has spent over 30 years helping Illinois residents resolve a wide range of legal matters, including criminal defense and domestic violence cases, DUI charges, and serious traffic violations.

As an animal rights advocate, Attorney LaPapa’s passion for justice extends to all creatures. His philosophy of “have law, will travel” sums up his straightforward approach to helping others.
