Christian Waites, is the associate attorney for the firm’s Charleston office. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the College of Charleston and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Waites was the President of the South Carolina Association of Justice’s law school chapter and was published in the South Carolina Law Review. Christian was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2016 and practices in the areas of bankruptcy and consumer law. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division, South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the J. Bratton Davis Bankruptcy American Inn of Court. Expertise named Best Bankruptcy Attorney in Charleston. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for The Honorable L. Casey Manning of the South Carolina Fifth Judicial Circuit and practiced with a local insurance defense firm. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and is an avid fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks.
