Introduction:

An injury accident or medical negligence claim requires both prompt action and careful handling. You need an attorney who can respond swiftly to preserve critical evidence. You also need an attorney who will take the time to understand your needs and who will stand up for what your case is worth. At Hone Law, you are represented by an experienced personal injury lawyer with a record of results. You deal directly with me, John S. Hone, rather than having your case pushed off to a paralegal or brokered out to some other lawyer. My Southfield law firm serves Greater Detroit, the Downriver communities and clients throughout Michigan.

Lawyer.com Member Questionnaire

Please describe a case(s) in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I had a four million dollar settlement case over an aneurism. I provided the family with a million dollar settlement and a structured settlement that will take care of them for the rest of their lives.

How did you build a successful practice?
I built a successful practice by understanding the fact that 90% of my time is taking care of business.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Clients should stay away from television advertisers and look for a trial lawyer that actually can work the case. They need a lawyer that will pay attention to detail and be sure to take care of the case themselves.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Every lawyer should have some concept of the type of jury and judge they will be working with.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
I can provide whether or not the client has a case and I will make sure you have the information that I need to move forward.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
I need the facts, names, addresses, phone numbers in order to determine the case.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
My qualifications, experience, and track record.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
The most rewarding aspect is providing financial salvation to my clients. Injury doesn't kill anyone the financial distress does and the inability to pay your medical bills.

What are your other interests in addition to law?
My wife, family, and friends.

Are you involved in your community?
I am involved in helping people acquire the financial resources they need to continue their livelihood.
