The supervising attorney of Law-Doctor.com is Kevin Jones, a licensed California attorney since 1988. Educated in New York at Empire State College, State University of New York, and Western State University, College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1988, and later educated in International Intellectual Property Law via the tri University program offered through University of Victoria B.C. Canada, University of Illinois (Urbana-Champlain), and Oxford University (St. Peter's College), Mr. Jones has over a quarter century of legal experience, with dozens of trials, arbitrations, mediations, depositions, and hundreds of clients over the years.

In 1998, Mr. Jones was nominated Judge for the Orange County Municipal Court. For the last six years, Mr. Jones has been a Special Master for the State Bar of California, a pro bono position where he monitors execution of certain warrants. From 2012-2015 Mr. Jones was appointed by the Los Angeles Superior Court as Judge Pro Tem, a pro bono position. To qualify, Mr. Jones received additional training in the following practice areas of law: disputes relating to limited civil (under $25,000); Small Claims; Traffic; Probate; and Unlawful Detainer. In addition to private practice experience, Mr. Jones spent a combined dozen years as "in-house" counsel in the wireless and property management industries, overseeing a portfolio of 17,000 apartments throughout the southwest.

Terminally ill patient-counseling an estate plan which was otherwise absent; Counseling and implementing a Living Trust Solution for an elderly couple facing increased medical care challenges/expenses; Addressing creditor claims where the basis of the claims was successfully opposed resulting in elimination of claims.
