I sued the owner of a restaurant in Dallas for breach of contract. My client was the general contractor and after the restaurant was built and received green tags on all construction inspections, the restaurant was open for business but failed to make the final payment to my construction client. We filed a lawsuit, which was then converted to an arbitration. We finally prevailed in the arbitration and were able to collect the funds my client needed to meet payroll the next week.

I believe our success was built on 3 things: 1 - following God's principles to treat others as we would like to be treated; and 2 - providing personalized, detailed legal solutions to my client's problems; and 3 - providing large firm results at small firm fees.

Clients should look for an honest lawyer (insert joke here) and one that is very experienced in the area of law the client needs. I have personally handled thousands of litigation cases and as a result, I have the legal experience needed to guide my clients through the ever-changing legal maze.

I have been a partner is very large law firms in Dallas and opened my own firm so that I could offer more personalized attention to my clients. We understand that everyone's time is valuable. We welcome the opportunity to speak to prospective clients over the phone to determine if we can assist them with their legal issue. We do not want to waste their time if we do not have the expertise they need for a certain case.

We need to know what type of case they have so that we can determine if we are the right law firm for them. If not, we are happy to refer them to a specialist in the area of law they need.

I have been a partner in several large law firms in Dallas and I have owned my own smaller law firm. As a result, I can offer my clients the best of both worlds: Large firm results for small firm fees.

I am a competitor and I love to win but the most rewarding aspect of my job is helping people. Even my business clients are made up of local people that I try to get to know on a personal level. Winning their legal fight for them, or counseling them how to avoid a legal fight, gives me great pride and joy. They say if you love what you do, you will never ""work"" a day in your life. I truly love what I do and I think it shows.

I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and the very proud father to two wonderful girls. They consume my entire life outside of the law and I could not be more happy about it.

I believe that it is important to give back to the community that supports my practice so well. I have served two terms as the President of the Mesquite Ambucs, a national charitable organization that provides specially designed therapeutic trykes to disabled children and wounded veterans. In addition, I have served as the President of the Mesquite Bar Association and was instrumental in scheduling speakers for the monthly meetings to continue the legal education of the members.
