Mitch Grissim Jr., Attorney

Mitch Grissim's father, who was a prominent Nashville lawyer himself, taught him at an early age that "it is the little things that make all the difference in the quality of the legal services offered and the level of the clients' satisfaction". Simple but important things, such as returning all phone calls (omit before the end of the day as sometimes they call after 3 or 4) and actually doing exactly what you say you are going to do, are the custom and tradition at Mitch Grissim and Associates.

Mitch is the father of 2 children, a daughter and a son. He lives on the lake east of Nashville in Sumner County and attends the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville.

His compassion for the injured led him to chose this specific area of practice when he began practicing law approximately 30 years ago. When not in the office, Mitch enjoys exercising and the outdoors. A love for boating led Mitch to obtain his United States Coast Guard Captains License in 2004 which Mitch puts to use several times a year boating in South Florida, along the Atlantic coast and the Keys.

Other interests include hunting, fishing, cooking, travel and just working outdoors in the yard. Kenai, Mitch's 6 year old chocolate Lab, named after the famous Salmon River in Alaska, has been greeting clients at the Downtown Nashville office since she was just a puppy. Although Kenai is a "senior partner", she continues to make an occasional appearance at the office.
