Since 1993, Philip has tried over 100 cases to verdict with advocacy in both Pennsylvania State and Federal court, making him one of the most experienced trial attorneys in the area. His courtroom experience ranges from trying summaries and third degree misdemeanors to defending complex Federal cases involving Racketeering, Conspiracy, Weapons Possession, and Drug Trafficking. His success at the pre-trial and trial level has strengthened his reputation as a skilled courtroom lawyer and as a capable advocate of his clients' interests. His reputation for courtroom excellence facilitates his ability to achieve the best possible resolution for his clients. He is familiar with the complexities of trial practice and has built the firm around the principles of diligence, hard work, and integrity. Philip works aggressively toward his client’s desired result and often achieves resolution in the form of very favorable negotiated pleas. District Attorneys across the state are familiar with the strong reputation of the firm.
Attorney Masorti was recently selected by his peers to be listed in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine. Only the top 5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania receive such an honor. He is a long-standing and active member of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He lives on a farm outside of State College with his wife, children, and an assortment of farm animals. He enjoys the outdoors, history, and music. He has completed several studio recordings that have been released commercially, and is the singer/songwriter lead for the band Philip Masorti and the Herd. He also is the owner of the local record label Apache Records, LLC., where he actively promotes and supports local music and musicians.
