Ms. Schaffer graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1978 with the degree of Juris Doctor. She has been a litigator for twenty-six years, and now concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice and workers’ compensation law.

She is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in the states of Connecticut and New York. She is also admitted to practice before the tribal courts of the Mohegan and Mashantucket tribes, and can therefore represent clients in casino related injury and workers’ compensation cases.

Attorney Schaffer maintains memberships in the local, state and national trial lawyers associations. She speaks numerous foreign languages, including Spanish.
