There was no jurisdiction in US Courts because the Defendants lacked minimum contacts in the US. He has also represented several American players in connection with FIBA’s prosecution of “doping” cases. In all cases where McCandless has represented players facing FIBA doping suspensions, the length of suspensions were reduced.
