Wilmot L Harris Jr., Member Attorney

Wilmot L. Harris, Jr., known as Mike, was born in Wheeling, West Virginia. He attended the Choate School, Washington and Lee University, and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he received his J.D. in 1966. Mr. Harris began his career with a Washington, D.C. firm and joined Ivey, Barnum & O'Mara, LLC in 1968.

Mr. Harris' areas of practice include estate planning, estate and trust administration, taxation, tax exempt foundations, and residential real estate transactions. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, in the District of Columbia, and before the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Harris is a member of the Connecticut and Greenwich Bar Associations, has served as President of the Greenwich Bar Association, and was a delegate to the Connecticut Bar Association.

Active in community service, Mr. Harris has served as a Board Member and Chairman of the United Way of Greenwich, the Greenwich Commission on Aging, the Greenwich Health Association, and the Fairfield County Community Foundation. He currently serves as a member and vice chairman of the Board of the Greenwich Arts Council.
