Attorney Regina M. Brown graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1996. She then attended Slippery Rock University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and was a member of Phi Sigma Pi, National Honor Society. Ms. Brown went on to earn her Juris Doctor in 2003 from Duquesne University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Brown participated in the University’s Law Clinic where she completed an internship with Neighborhood Legal Services, who offered free legal assistance to those in need. During her third year of law school, she was offered a paid internship at the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Upon graduating and passing the bar exam in 2003, Ms. Brown began her legal career as a law clerk for Judge George E. James in the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County. She worked in that capacity for two years and then relocated to York, Pennsylvania, where she began practicing as an Assistant Public Defender. In 2006, Ms. Brown was given the opportunity to practice as an Assistant Public Defender in Allegheny County where she practiced for ten years. Over the course of her career, she acquired extensive courtroom experience that included jury trials and non-jury trials. In 2014, Ms. Brown was promoted to the position of Pre-Trial Division Manager where she remained until coming to Berger and Green, P.C. in October of 2016. Born in New York City in 1963, Jennifer Modell graduated from the University of Chicago in 1985 with honors. She obtained a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 1991 and was on the Dean's list.  She is licensed to practice in all Pennsylvania State and Federal Courts, New York State, and in any Social Security Court throughout the United States.Ms. Modell began her career working as a criminal defense attorney at the Legal Aid Society of New York. Thereafter, she did legal work in the areas of immigration law and civil rights law and practiced disability law with the Rhode Island Disability Law Center. Ms. Modell headed the Rhode Island Disability Law Center's Brain Injury Project. She also taught Immigration Law and Business Law courses at the University of Long Island, New York. In 2007, she joined the law firm of Berger and Green to represent disabled people throughout Western Pennsylvania in claims for Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association Social Security Practitioners Committee and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives (NOSSCR). Attorney Jayda C. Guidry graduated cum laude from West Virginia University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. During her undergraduate years, Jayda developed a strong interest in the law through her work assisting with research at West Virginia University’s College of Law where she also cultivated an appreciation for serving others. After completing her undergraduate education, she attended Duquesne University School of Law as a Dean’s Scholar and graduated with her Juris Doctor. Throughout law school, she demonstrated a passion for public service and advocacy, most notably in her role as a certified legal intern with Duquesne’s Youth Advocacy Clinic, where she represented children in delinquency and educational matters. She also clerked for Judge Walter Rice in Federal District Court of the Sixth circuit and Judge Jennifer Sargus in Belmont County, Ohio. Attorney Bonnesen is a managing partner at Berger and Green, P. C., where she represents individuals in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia in Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) cases.
