He enrolled in South Texas College of Law, working full-time during the day and attending law school at night. After law school, Mike returned home to Arkansas to raise a family and serve his community. He served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and later represented city officials through the Arkansas Municipal League Defense Fund. He also helped create and litigate for the Association of Arkansas Counties Risk Management Fund, representing county officials across the state for more than 31 years. Alongside this work, Mike began representing injured people because he felt called to help those who were hurting and sidelined by tragedy in their lives. In 2006, Mike helped form Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, which has grown to over 40 attorneys and more than 125 team members, all built on one simple philosophy: put people first. Mike loves Arkansas and has spent his entire law career serving its cities, counties, and families from every corner of the state. Mr. Sutter has been in aviation for over thirty years and has been practicing law for over 25 years. He has represented numerous airmen against the FAA, airlines, and charter operators. His primary background has been in the field of the ADA and employment law. He pioneered the early developments of the ADA and the FMLA eventually arguing one of the first FMLA cases before the United States Supreme Court. He is a zealous advocate of his clients who refuses to bow to the demands of corporate America.

Chuck Douglas is a practicing lawyer in the state of Georgia. He received his J.D. from Georgia State University. He currently works for his privately owned firm of Wakhisi-Douglas, LLC.

Former prosecutor, David Parker, joined Dodds, Kidd, Ryan & Rowan in 2017. After graduating from UALR William H. Bowen School of Law in 2008, David worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, where he prosecuted over 30,000 criminal cases in White County District and Circuit Courts. There, he also served as Special Judge in White County District Court – Civil Division. Following his time as a prosecutor, David worked at the Department of Finance and Administration as Revenue Legal Counsel. There, David represented the department in all DWI drivers’ license appeal cases for the entire state of Arkansas. As part of his representation for the department, David played a key role in lobbying legislators and drafting legislation regarding Arkansas’ DWI laws, licensing and criminal statutes. Besides his work on DWI appeals, David litigated tax protests, business closures, and other civil lawsuits on behalf of DFA. As a Little Rock native, David serves on the Board of Directors for the Big Dam Bridge Foundation, whose mission is to promote the use, support, and preservation of the Big Dam Bridge for the advancement of health, fitness, cultural and recreational activities in Arkansas. David is also among the sixteen founding members of the Little Rock Touchdown Club, where membership has grown to more than 800 members, with the purpose of bringing football fans together to support all levels of Arkansas football.

I was exposed to law at an early age as my grandfather and father were trial lawyers, grandmother was a court reporter and my uncle was a US Marshall. I had the opportunity to view trials starting at a very young age and see how a trial lawyer was able to help a client through very difficult times. In high school, I excelled at debate and was encouraged to pursue the practice of law. I enjoy trying cases and helping clients and families achieve justice through the legal system.

Richard L. Mays is a partner of Mays, Byrd and O’Guinn, PLLC. Mr. Mays received his B.A. Degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. where he was awarded the Phi Beta Kappa award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement. He subsequently attended the University of Arkansas School of Law where he served on the Law Review. Following law school, Mr. Mays worked at the United States Justice Department in Washington, D.C. under the Attorney General’s Honor Graduate Program and eventually returned to Arkansas to serve as Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney. Thereafter, Mr. Mays entered the private practice of law and, while practicing, was elected to the Arkansas General Assembly in 1972, becoming one of the first African Americans elected to that body in the 20th century. President Clinton, during his first term as Governor of Arkansas, appointed Mr. Mays as an Arkansas Supreme Court Justice. In 1990, Mr. Mays was also appointed to the Arkansas Ethics Commission by then Governor Clinton and served as its first chairman. In 1993, Mays served as a member of the U.S.-South Africa Business Development Committee under the late U.S. Commerce Secretary Ron Brown. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Mays served as Senior Vice President of Cassidy & Associates, one of the largest public affairs firms in Washington, D.C. For more than 10 years, Mays served as a consultant to CMS Energy of Jackson, Michigan in connection with the expansion and development of a 330 megawatt power plant in Takoradi, Ghana. In 2001, Governor Mike Huckabee appointed Mr. Mays to the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and in 2003, appointed him to the Arkansas Banking Board. Mr. Mays was appointed to the Arkansas Claims Commission in 2006 and currently serves as Co-Chair.
