A local graduate of North Charleston High School, attorney John Price has practiced since 1985, serving as a state prosecutor in the Charleston County Solicitor’s Office before founding John Price Law Firm, LLC in 1988. An experienced attorney, he has served as president of the Charleston Art of Trial Advocacy Workshop for Charleston-area lawyers, a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, and Board of Governors for the South Carolina Association of Justice. Patrick Aulton Chisum is a partner at Gruenloh Law Firm where he handles many different kinds of cases including: Personal injury Criminal defense Magistrate & probate court matters He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2007 and the Charleston School of Law in 2012. During law school, Patrick worked for the Georgetown County Public Defenders office, SCDHEC Ocean Coastal Resource Management and was a volunteer Guardian ad Litem. Prior to law school, he worked as an Estate Clerk for the Honorable Judge Amy McCulloch in the Richland County Probate Court. Patrick has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. He was also named as a 2014 South Carolina’s Outstanding Young Lawyers and Top 10 Under 40 by the Nationa Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

Mr. Stokes graduated from Presbyterian College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a minor in Computer Science. He was a member of the Charleston School of Law’s inaugural class earning his Juris Doctor in May 2007. Mr. Stokes was admitted to the South Carolina Bar at the end of 2007, and began his legal career as an attorney at the Law Offices of Paul E. Tinkler located in downtown Charleston, South Carolina in December 2007. In June 2010, Mr. Stokes opened the Law Office of Joshua P. Stokes, LLC. In September 2011, Mr. Stokes and Peter M. McCoy, Jr. merged their individual practices to form McCoy & Stokes, LLC. Upon Mr. McCoy’s appointment as the U.S. Attorney for South Carolina, McCoy & Stokes was dissolved and Mr. Stokes opened Stokes Legal, LLC which is located on James Island, South Carolina but represents clients throughout the Lowcountry. Mr. Stokes is admitted to practice in all state courts in South Carolina and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association, and Charleston County Bar Association. Mr. Stokes is originally from Anderson, South Carolina, but he has lived in Charleston since 2004. He and his wife, Robyn, reside on James Island with their five children.

Roger Dixon is the founder and managing attorney of Dixon Law Firm, LLC. His practice includes family law, criminal defense, general civil litigation, school law, and probate. After a distinguished career in public education teaching English and journalism, Roger Dixon entered the Charleston School of Law in 2006. While in law school Roger served two externships as a law clerk with the Charleston and Colleton County Public Defender’s Offices, where he gained valuable experience in criminal law and criminal trial practice. Roger also won the law school’s Cali Award for Excellence in Domestic Relations, became trained as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, and was awarded the Charleston School of Law Pro Bono Award for his dedication to public service. With 15 years of experience in the field of public education, Roger is particularly skilled in representing clients in dispute with public schools, especially with regard to students with special needs, students charged with crimes in schools, truancy, suspensions, expulsions, and teacher/district relations.

Over the past decade Lynn Seithel has litigated against some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world including American Home Products, Wyeth, and Glaxosmithkline to name a few. She was one of the first to pursue lawsuits against the makers of Avandia®, Advair®, Paxil®, Serevent®, Vioxx®, Yaz®, and Trasylol®. Over the years, a large portion of her practice centered on representing parents and children in birth defect litigation as a result of mothers taking potentially dangerous drugs during pregnancy that lacked adequate safety warnings. Some of the potentially dangerous drugs during pregnancy include Paxil®, Zoloft®, Prozac®, Wellbutrin®, Depakote®, Diflucan®, Topomax® and Serequel®. Although she primarily concentrates on pharmaceutical litigation, her past experience includes work in tobacco and auto defect litigation as well.
