Battisti & Garzo, P.C.

Reviews

I have had Paul Battisti as a lawyer about 10 years ago. He was very professional and always returned my calls. The only time I could not talk with him at the office when walking in without an appointment (2x) he was at court. I might add, he was doing public defender work before he went to be a private lawyer! I've even heard rehearsing his court case (mine) in his office while waiting to see him! He is very confident and straight to the point!! I would recommend Paul Battisti to anyone as a lawyer and as a DA!!

I had an experience with this lawyer about 2 years ago. I am posting my experience now because I hear he is running for a DA position, which, in my opinion, he is grossly under qualified for. Paul took on my misdemeanor drug case and acted as though it was going to be a walk in the park. After a few weeks of miscommunication, as well as noncommunication, Paul told me that I would be given 40 hours of community service, as well as an unsupervised probationary period lasting a year. It wasn’t until I was AT THE COURTHOUSE, that I was informed that I was facing 80 hours, with a hefty fine attached. I was confused, but I decided to look over my emails, and confirm with my girlfriend what he had previously promised. After giving him a earful over the phone, he flip flopped from, “I’m done with you as a client,” to admitting that something may have gone in the process. He told me that he would get back to me, and in true Paul Batisti fashion, never got back to me. I decided to take the loss instead of taking anymore of him. It seems like his rates are lower than average because he takes on way more cases than he can handle at one time.
Sleazy lying attorney. He will take your money, and tell you what you want to hear. Never returns phone calls. Stop at his office and the nice woman says he isn't there and she doesn't know when he will be back, but you hear his voice in the other room. If you care about your family member, hire someone else... anyone else.
Nothing good to say.
