You wont find anyone better !! Fantastic 3. From the receptionist up to the attorneys, they are all 5 star rating in my book and at a surprising low fee. My sweetie had been turned down different times. Within a year, he had his answers and soon the mone6was there. It was a great experience!!!

Coats & Todd law firm was amazing in winning my case! They are organized and helpful during each step of the claim process. They were patient and answered any questions or concerns that I had along the way. Mr. Blair was exceptional in preparing me for my hearing and I could not have done any of this without this law firm and my lawyer Mr. Blair. I am very satisfied. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for representation.

*Added review in response to Christopher Coats comment to the response below 04/09/25.* Just because I didn’t leave a voicemail doesn’t mean I didn’t call. And contrary to what you said about not speaking about my case in particular, you are in fact speaking about it as seen in your first comment when you refer to validating Anna on what she told me. You then again infer that if you moved on with my case that it would be considered fraudulent and deceptive. Not only did you actually refer to my case in particular, you clearly insulted the trauma that I went through in my time in service by calling it fraudulent and deceptive. And then you continue to cover up your egregious actions by saying it’s all a miscommunication and that I don’t know what qualifies someone for SSDI and don’t know what SGA is. I had a deadline to submit my SSA package. I went to your firm for help. Instead of helping me you and your firm didn’t even attempt to contact me on any progress you have made on my case. You and your firm deliberately waited until my deadline was up. I had to call your office to figure out what was going on and only when I called your office is when you and firm said you can’t help me. That was already near the deadline. I have severe degenerative arthritis in both knees. You screwed me. A disabled veteran. *Added Review in response to the owner Christopher Coats' statements below, since I'm not able to respond directly to his comment for whatever reason.* Hello Chris. I did try calling you as you invited me to, but your phone went straight to voicemail. I would like to address what you are implying in your statements. In your first paragraph, you are implying that my disabilities are fraudulent and that I was fraudulently applying for SSDI benefits. I was blown down by an aircraft engine at 1500 horsepower in the line of duty and thus continue to suffer from multiple injuries. So how dare you assume that any part of my case is fraudulent or deceptive. Second, there is a criteria that needs to be met in regards to Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA). Just because someone is working doesn't mean that they are making SGA and if they're not then they are eligible to receive SSDI. So your declaration that a person cannot be working at all in order to receive SSDI benefits is false and deceptive. The SSDI program itself doesn't even prohibit beneficiaries from working. People who are receiving SSDI benefits can still work, but their earnings from that job are capped as stated in the program. So after correcting what you have said, it still makes no sense as to why you and your firm have chosen not to help me. A disabled veteran. I DO NOT recommend your firm to anyone. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would not recommend this firm at all. I’m a disabled veteran with severe arthritis. I asked Coats and Todd to help me get social security disability income. The case worker in charge of my case was Anna. I had up to December last year to turn in an application. After December I could no longer submit an application. I gave Anna my medical documentation. She gave them to attorney and they were supposed to work on my case. Come close to the December deadline, I called Coats and Todd to see what the status was with submitting my application as I have not heard from them in over a month. Anna told me that the attorney was not going to accept working on my case because they believe at Coats and Todd that Social security disability income is only for those who can’t work. This is far from the truth. If what they said was true, the SSA would not pay out a maximum of $1500 to recipients who are working while at the same time receiving SSDI. So to recap Coats and Todd blatantly lied to me about SSDI and they were waiting for the December deadline to expire before ever contacting me. If you’re a veteran or anyone who is looking for advocacy for SSI or SSDI, look elsewhere. You want honest trustworthy people working your case. Stay away from Coats and Todd.

Coats and Todd did a great job. I have MS and can't work anymore. They were honest with me and told me SSI is way behind so it took a little longer. They stayed in touch and let me know what the status was with my application. Once everything was cleared my payments started right away. A huge thank you to them for all of their help getting me approved and in the system.

Ms. Catherine is an absolute SUPERSTAR! When she says she doesn’t give up on a case, she absolutely means it! I tried on my own to file a disability case and was so frustrated with social security I let that case terminate and tried again using this firm. Complete and total satisfaction doesn’t begin to explain my feelings for the service I received. I know I am a difficult person to satisfy but this law firm DID the job.
