The Potra Law Firm

From my experience, Potra Law firm has been nothing but helpful. Not only one time but many times. The results I’ve seen in my mothers case have been almost unbelievable. This is all thanks to their teams hard work and efficiency. We fail to understand that a law firm isn’t a fast food place. Where we get what we want at the time we want. The immigration responses aren’t from one day to another. If you give everything necessary and patiently wait for them to do their job, I Can assure you that you will have a positive outcome. Attorney Blake and Brenda you guys are amazing !

Worst immigration lawyer ever. Will basically give up his clients to immigration, all they care about is the money in there. I recommend Antonini & Cohen. Do not waste your time or money here.

Potra is not what he used to be. We paid $200 for a consultation where he joked around about purchasing wedding rings at a Home Depot. . . We did not find that funny. Also, he called my dad's lawyer a fraud and gave us misleading information about the VAWA petition. I don't think Potra has that motivation in him anymore. I won't be going back. Fina someone else.

We paid almost $5000 and waited 3 years and still no green card. We were told that advanced parole would be the best route to take but they left out the part that when we got back from advanced parole we were gonna have to pay them MORE money (not to mention I had to call uscis myself because they wouldn’t and my case had taken so long so I got an appointment with uscis myself and when they sent my papers there they sent expired papers so I had to reschedule and drive 2:45 minutes to Nashville again.) So when I got back from Mexico I drove 3 hours to their office for them to tell me we would have to pay $5000 more dollars for the I-485 form. This place is unorganized they kept losing stuff that I would send them and we would have to resend. They are also money hungry, apparently they still have $350 dollars of mine that I can use as “credit” and since I decided to not go with them anymore because I can’t afford to they won’t give me that money back. So if you are looking for a honest lawyer that wants to help people keep looking because this is not the place!

It was a great and easy experience with el abogado Porta. They were very attentive with my case and made sure everything was up to date. I would highly recommend if you think there’s no more options because Potra and his employees are there for you and make you feel like family!
