About Harold
Harold Weinstock, one of the firm's founders, is now of counsel to the firm and no longer in active practice. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and is the recipient of the 1996 Arthur K. Marshall Award presented by the Los Angeles County Bar Association for outstanding accomplishments in the field of trusts and estates and was also honored as a "Super Lawyer" in 2004, 2005 and 2006 by Law & Politics, published by Los Angeles Magazine. He is the author of a textbook published by West Group, Planning An Estate: A Guidebook of Principles and Techniques , and the author of numerous articles which have appeared in publications such as Journal of Taxation, Trust & Estates , and Estate Planning. Mr. Weinstock has lectured before numerous national tax and estate planning conferences and is a former Chairman of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Probate, Trust and Estate Planning Committee, President of the Beverly Hills Estate Planning Council and President of the Estate Counsellors Forum of Los Angeles. A graduate of Harvard Law School, he previously served as a Special Attorney for the Internal Revenue Service.
