Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I recently settle led a matter wherein 5 annuity contracts were reduced to 32.79% of their value due to the bankruptcy of the insurer. Without filing a lawsuit within 5 months I obtained an agreement worth $2.3 million dollars where the original tortfeasor, a hospital, agreed to make up the shortfall of the annuities. I also settled a lawsuit for a greatly reduced amount for a mobile home buyer that overpaid for the unit. Recently I drafted a Lease Agreement with an Option to purchase wherein the rent payments are applied to the purchase price if the option is exercised by the tenant.
