About Joan
Ms. Rosoff is a partner in the Business Department and Co-Chair of the Real Estate and Institutional Finance Group. She focuses her practice on advising clients in commercial real estate and finance matters, concentrating on representing financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies and other lenders in sophisticated lending transactions. Ms. Rosoff also advises clients both locally and nationally in other real estate matters such as acquisitions, sales and leasing. She also works closely with the Firm's corporate attorneys in providing services in all aspects of commercial finance involved in mergers and acquisitions of companies.
Ms. Rosoff served as the 2003 President of CREW Network, an interdisciplinary professional real estate association with over 8,000 members in the United States and Canada. Prior to serving as the organization's president, she served for four years as a member of its Board of Directors, overseeing its growth and strategic direction. She also has written and spoken extensively on various real estate related and finance topics.
Ms. Rosoff received her B.A. from New York University in 1976 and her J.D. from Temple University in 1981. Ms. Rosoff is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and its Real Property Section. She was selected in a survey of her peers as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics magazine in 2005 and 2006. Ms. Rosoff has been AV rated by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating system.
