About Lee
Lee Ann Breading, Attorney at Law opened her private practice January 1, 2007 after 23 years of public service in the practice of law as a prosecutor in Dallas and Denton counties.Ms. Breading began her public service in Dallas County under the legendary Henry Wade where she prosecuted individuals charged with crimes in the misdemeanor, white collar crime, felony and grand jury divisions. She left Dallas County to join the Denton County Criminal District Attorney's Office where she served as Chief of the Felony Trial Division for 4 years and 12 years as the First Assistant where she supervised all attorney divisions and managed the operations within the office.
She has successfully tried hundreds of criminal cases for the State of Texas including DWIs, drug offenses, aggravated kidnappings, aggravated robberies, aggravated sexual assaults, assaults, burglaries, murders and three capital murders which resulted in death sentences. Her trial skills have been enhanced by the investigation and preparation skills that she further developed by working cases in the white collar crime division in Dallas County and by many years of presenting cases to the grand juries of Dallas and Denton Counties. Ms. Breading has investigated and presented police officer involved shootings and tried an organized group of police officers that were committing burglaries while on duty.
Ms. Breading has been a frequent speaker for various groups and has testified on various criminal justice issues at the legislature because of her knowledge of criminal law and the criminal justice system. She is a long time supporter and former board member of the Children's Advocacy Center for Denton County, a non-profit organization that provides justice and healing for abused children.
Lee Ann Breading is an avid dog enthusiast who has been competitively showing Norwegian Elkhounds since 1987.
