Specifically, at the Nassau County District Attorney’s office, I collaborated closely with the Special Victims Bureau, supporting attorneys in trial preparation for cases involving violent sexual offenders and vulnerable sex abuse victims. MARK L. KALISH is a founding partner of Moss & Kalish, PLLC. Mark is a 1975 graduate of Brooklyn Law School with honors. Like Gary, Mark has broad experience in the field of general corporate, commercial, and real estate litigation. In this area, Mark has served as counsel in federal litigation to bond holders who suffered financial losses as a result of a massive sovereign default by the Republic of Argentina. Mark has also served as a legal advisor to a partnership involved in the development of a 1.5 billion dollar undersea fiber optic cable venture and counseled clients in corporate and real estate matters. Mark has had extensive involvement in various not-for-profit organizations, serving as President of the Brandeis School, a private day school located in Lawrence, New York, and President of Congregation Sons of Israel, located in Woodmere, New York.

Gerald Karikari is admitted to practice law in the state of New York, as well as in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Mr. Karikari emigrated from Ghana, West Africa, as a young child. As such, the plight of immigrants is something Mr. Karikari is deeply concerned about. In addition, Mr. Karikari is passionate about community affairs. Mr. Karikari is also a Property Manager and Director of various real estate businesses such as Woods and Ruff Global LLC, outfitting him with an extensive depth of knowledge in all things real estate management. Brianna is an experienced litigator with expertise in high value, complex disputes involving antitrust, fraud, cryptoassets, unfair business practices, trade secrets, commercial contracts, real estate, partnerships, trusts and estates, fiduciary removal suits, and defamation. She has also spent a significant amount of time counseling private clients in more personal matters, including civil harassment restraining orders, tax planning, business formation, and other complex business areas. Brianna puts her years of studying the complexity and interrelationship of legal, social, and ethical issues to use throughout her practice and, therefore, brings a practical but personable approach to business and legal issues.

Lance’s practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense, government and internal investigations, arbitration, and complex litigation, with a special emphasis on crypto assets, securities fraud, antitrust, and commercial contracts. As a former assistant federal public defender in Puerto Rico and along the U.S.-Mexico border, Lance managed over 100 felony cases at a time, in addition to working on several appeals. This built on his federal district court clerkship with the Honorable Judge Andrew Carter, Jr. in the Southern District of New York. Before joining Dynamis, Lance ran large-scale complex, global litigation, arbitration and investigations at two prominent law firms in New York. He has significant expertise representing multinational corporations across banking, healthcare and telecommunications industries in internal and regulatory investigations involving the FCPA and other anti-corruption laws, sanctions, and racketeering and misrepresentation claims. He has an extensive background working with national regulatory bodies such as the DOJ, SEC, OFAC, and CFTC, as well local and state authorities, and even worked in-house at the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (Mexican Stock Exchange). In New York, for example, Lance oversaw cases involving well-known securities fraud claims valued at $203 million for Morgan Stanley, as well as a related DOJ investigation that resulted in a $2.6 billion settlement. Lance is completing both the MBA and Graduate Diploma in Compliance programs at the Pontifical Catholic University in Santiago, Chile and brings a critical global business lens and client-side perspective to every matter he handles. He regularly advises multinational companies and startups in Latin America on a range of legal and strategy topics related to compliance, risk mitigation and data privacy. He is a fluent Spanish speaker with a working proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese and has a deep understanding of Latin America legal practice and cross-border work, due to his professional experience in Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Puerto Rico and working with clients in the UK, China and India.

Kimberly’s practice focuses on complex litigation, white-collar criminal defense, government and internal investigations, and arbitration. Kimberly has experience representing individuals and companies in criminal and regulatory enforcement investigations, including on allegations of financial and securities fraud, anti-corruption violations (FCPA, FCA, AKS), sanctions violations, insurance fraud, healthcare fraud, and tax fraud. Kimberly has defended clients before federal and state prosecutors and regulators, including the SEC, DOJ, FINRA, state Attorney General and District Attorney offices. Kimberly has experience in both federal and state court proceedings at the trial and appellate levels. She has represented clients against claims of financial and securities fraud, trade secret misappropriation, global products liability, employment, and cooperation in SEC monitorship and receivership proceedings. Kimberly has also assisted clients with internal investigations, compliance and monitoring, oversight, and crisis management. Prior to joining Dynamis LLP, Kimberly was a white-collar criminal defense and government investigations associate at a mid-size law firm and a litigation associate at a prominent New York law firm. Kimberly received her J.D. from Fordham Law School, where she was the recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award magna cum laude. While at Fordham, Kimberly served as a Notes and Articles Editor for the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal; participated in the Securities Litigation and Arbitration Clinic; and was an LLM Legal Writing Teaching Assistant, for the Honorable Gerald Lebovits. Kimberly was also a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Keith E. Lynott in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Essex County. Kimberly is currently on the Associate Board of Urban Pathways, Inc. a non-profit organization in New York that specializes in assisting the homeless.

Mr. Cooper is the founding partner of the firm. He graduated from Vermont Law School with a J.D. in 1995, where he was an Editor of the Vermont Law Review. During his career as a litigator for over twenty (20) years, he has handled thousands of cases from inception through disposition. He has practiced in New York State Supreme Court, the Appellate Divisions of the New York Supreme Court, and the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has also argued before the New York State’s highest court, the New York Court of Appeals. Mr. Cooper has lectured on the topic of wage theft in New York at LaGuardia Community College. Since he formed Cilenti & Cooper, PLLC in 2009, Mr. Cooper’s practice has been largely devoted to representing individuals who are unable to pay for the services of an attorney.
