Barry was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and is a first-generation college graduate beating his niece by a mere two years. Barry moved to Oregon in 1999 and save three years to attend law school in Lansing, Michigan has been here since. Prior to becoming a lawyer Barry had a multitude of occupations including being a Pre-School teacher, a political organizer and a chef. While not practicing law, Barry loves to spend time with his wife Amy, two sons Meshach and Everett and their husky Rue. He also is and avid hiker, backpacker, snowboarder, plays ice hockey and is a die-hard Detroit Red Wings fan.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Burke worked as an editor and reporter in the newspaper business before immigrating to Portland by following the Oregon Trail in the mid-2000s. While not practicing law, Brendan enjoys golf, pub trivia, comedy, reading and rooting for the Denver Broncos!

Attorney Brian S. Ruff comes to Clark Law and Associates with over 20 years of experience in personal injury law.  He graduated from Willamette University College of Law, where he was the Vice-President of the Student Bar Association, and became an attorney in 1998.  However, Brian has worked in the legal industry since 1993. Brian has been guiding injury victims through the complicated maze of the claims process, fighting for their right to recover compensation from the country’s largest insurers, for most of his career. Early on, he spent five years as an insurance defense lawyer and brings with him the unique behind-the-scenes experience that came with it. Brian and his wife have two children and own a home in Clackamas County.  In his free time, Brian enjoys photography and astronomy.  He is also a Portland Timbers season ticket holder and a vocal member of the Timbers Army. 

Alex Hostetler graduated "cum laude" from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2018. Alex decided to take the plunge into law school in order to work to improve access to justice for everyone. As a member of the LGBT community, he understands how intimidating it can be to reach out to someone who doesn’t understand your background, no matter your issue. He hopes to help people alleviate some of that stress by offering thoughtful legal services to individuals from all walks of life. As a newer attorney, Alex is working under the supervision of managing attorney, Jennie L. Clark, and the other highly experienced attorneys in the firm of Clark Law and Associates, LLC on landlord/tenant and personal injury cases. Alex currently lives with his husband in Beaverton. In his free time, he enjoys video games, cross stitch, and hiking. Alex is a huge animal lover, and lives with a spoiled dog, two cats, and too many fish.

Dan formed Thenell Law Group in 2012. Dan’s practice focuses on the investigation and litigation of Special Investigation Unit (SIU) claims and first and third party coverage claims. Within his areas of practice, Dan is experienced in the bad faith and claim coverage issues inherent in first party SIU investigations and litigation. Dan is also the General Counsel of the Oregon State Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police, and the Chapter Counsel for the Oregon IASIU Chapter. Before creating Thenell Law Group, Dan spent six years as a partner with a large litigation defense firm. Prior to that, Dan represented cities and counties in civil rights and employment cases. He worked for six years as a Washington County Deputy District Attorney, where he prosecuted more than 60 jury trials and numerous court trials. Dan specialized in the prosecution of large-scale identity theft and fraud crimes. Dan regularly defends Oregon and Washington insurers against coverage and extra-contractual allegations. Since entering civil practice in 2005, Dan has been lead trial counsel in approximately 30 trials, including in the federal judicial districts of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Dan also conducts Examination Under Oath in Alaska. In addition to being a trial lawyer, Dan has conducted hundreds of EUOs regarding property and casualty claims. Dan also conducts policy language reviews and provides general coverage advice to clients on Pacific Northwest liability and property issues.

Gregory Paul Oliveros was born and raised in the Portland area. After graduating from the Oregon College of Education in 1973, he taught in the Portland Public Schools. In 1981, he left the classroom to become an administrator with the School District. He was a specialist in the Staff Development Community Relations Office and was later an assistant to the principal of Humboldt Elementary School. Mr. Oliveros earned 2 Masters degrees in Education from Portland State University in 1981 and 1982, then went on to attend law school and graduated in 1990 at age 40.In the early part of his career, Mr. Oliveros had a sole practice. In 1996, Michael D. O'Brien was an associate to his former firm, and became his partner in 2000, now known as Oliveros & O'Brien, P.C.Mr. Oliveros has three daughters and three granddaughters. Mr. Oliveros and his wife, Gina enjoys taking short trips with his time away from the office. Mr. Oliveros is active in his church, Christ the King, and on occasion, enjoys playing a friendly game of poker.In addition to Mr. Oliveros' criminal practice, he works in the domestic relations area. The law firm of Oliveros & O'Brien has a significant practice in bankruptcy. Mr. Oliveros' interest in criminal defense work has risen over the years, and he now considers it a significant part of his practice.

I have lived in the mid- Willamette Valley since 1981, in Corvallis since 1989. Since 2000, I have been an attorney based in Corvallis, providing legal services in real estate law, business law, estate planning, and construction law, as well as other practice areas. Before beginning my career in law, I enjoyed a 15 year career as a professional forester in the private sector of Western Oregon’s timber industry. During those years, I gained invaluable experience with the workings of the business world generally, but particularly as it relates to land, natural resources, and the environment, and the impact of those things on people and families. In 1997 I entered law school at Willamette University in Salem, and graduated 5th academically in the class of 2000. I am currently a solo practitioner with an office in downtown Corvallis. I graduated from law school with the goal of working in criminal defense. For approximately the first four years of my practice, I accepted privately retained and court-appointed criminal defense cases and gained valuable trial experience. After I was rear-ended three times in one year and suffered compounded whiplash, I became interested in personal injury law. Since then, I have expanded my practice into include a combination of criminal and general civil litigation including auto accidents, dog bites, premises liability, product liability, police misconduct, expungements, stalking/restraining orders. For landlord tenant cases, we must first do a conflicts check, then my initial consultation rate is $200.00 which is a reduction of our normal $300.00 hourly rate. Joseph L. Haley, Attorney at Law Associate Attorney Joseph (“Joe”) Haley was born in Marietta, Ga. Joseph’s entire adult working life was devoted to the practice of law, culminating with over 20 years at the Texas Attorney General serving the needs of Texas children. Joseph has a deep passion for serving the legal needs of those unable to help themselves. Educational Background: • Vanderbilt University; B.A. in Political Science and Business Administration. • SMU Dedman School of Law; and first passed the bar in the State of Texas in 1979.
