Karen Jacobs has been practicing law for almost 20 years. She graduated from Loyola Law School and has been trained as a mediator. Prior to becoming a plaintiffs' attorney, Karen Jacobs was in-house counsel for one of the largest insurance companies in Southern California, giving her insight into how cases are evaluated and making her uniquely positioned to get the highest possible settlement for her clients. Karen has been a vocal advocate for clients in all phases of litigation. As a result of her skill and tenacity, she has a very high trial success rate. In her spare time Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and children and doing probono legal work for underprivileged children, the elderly, and immigrant families.

Itamar "Eddie" Tehrani, founder of State Law Firm, worked his way up the chain of command in several different law offices in Los Angeles. Mr. Taibi graduated from the prestigious liberal arts school, Davidson College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, in 1989. With a concentration in pre-law classes as part of his undergraduate studies, Mr. Taibi achieved the top 5% of those taking the LSAT, the entry examination for law school. While he attended college, Mr. Taibi was very active in college government, holding leadership positions such as Treasurer and President of his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta In 1992, Mr. Taibi earned his Juris Doctorate degree at California Western School of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Taibi was the law clerk for one of the top criminal defense and family law attorneys in San Diego County. During these three years, Mr. Taibi received an invaluable practical education in what it means to be an attorney and how to best represent clients in different areas of law Mr. Taibi was admitted to practice law in the State of California in 1992, and walked into the Courtroom the very next day after his acceptance into practice and began litigating.
