Pilar Borneo is an Associate Attorney in Singleton Schreiber’s Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking and Wildfire Litigation practices, where she brings exceptional litigation skills and a robust background in both criminal and civil law. Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Pilar has a deep-rooted commitment to justice and advocacy, which is evident in her impressive track record. Pilar began her legal career as a prosecutor, quickly distinguishing herself with her exceptional trial skills. She managed an average caseload of 130 complex and high-profile criminal cases, conducting over 30 trials and gaining proficiency in oral advocacy, trial preparation, and the rules of evidence. Her time as an Assistant District Attorney for Bernalillo County saw her excel in pre-trial and status conferences, motion hearings, and the drafting of legal briefs and motions. Transitioning to the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General, Pilar focused on Historical Preservation Law, leveraging her passion for preserving cultural heritage within the legal framework. Sean S. Ramirez joined Frazier Law Office in 2016 and in 2018 he took over the day-to-day operations of Frazier & Ramirez Law. Sean was born here in Albuquerque but grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated in 2010 from the University of Arizona College of Law and decided to return to his native Albuquerque. Michael Duran is Partner at the Albuquerque office of Singleton Schreiber, where he brings over two decades of extensive litigation experience to the firm’s Personal Injury practice group. Mr. Duran is a lifelong New Mexican and has strong ties to northern New Mexico where his family can be traced back for several generations. His comprehensive background in handling personal injury cases at both state and federal levels includes automobile collisions, trucking accidents, premises liability, and motorcycle collisions. Before joining Singleton Schreiber, Mr. Duran served as the Managing Litigation Attorney at a prominent plaintiff law firm in Albuquerque for more than 17 years. In this role, he managed attorneys across the firm, filed and litigated numerous cases in New Mexico up and through trial. In that time, Mr. Duran took over a dozen cases to trial and verdict. His responsibilities also included supervising support staff and participating in extensive litigation activities. Earlier in his career, Mr. Duran served as an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney at Stiff & Associates, Miller Stratvert LLP, and Houliston and Associates in Albuquerque, NM. In these positions, he litigated a wide range of insurance cases, maintaining a substantial caseload and fulfilling extensive litigation responsibilities including discovery, depositions, motions practice, and mediations. Mr. Duran earned his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he made the Dean’s List and received a Certificate in Basic Mediation. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. An active member of several prestigious legal associations, Mr. Duran serves on the Board of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers and is a member of the National Trial Lawyers, the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, the American Association for Justice, and the National Hispanic Bar Association. Brian Gaddy is a principal attorney with the Gaddy Law Firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He practices law in Texas and New Mexico and represents individuals suffering injuries caused by others. Mr. Gaddy has extensive experience with personal injury litigation. With over 17 years of experience as a Claims Counsel with Professional Claims Managers and a Claims Attorney with the Texas Association of Counties Risk Management Pool, his focus was litigation and pre-suit claims involving municipal law enforcement and public officials’ liability. Specifically, he dealt routinely with claims and litigation involving 42 U.S.C. Sections 1981, 1983, and 1985, Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Texas Whistleblowers Act. Independently, he has consulted on litigation involving professional liability, copyright and trademark infringement, and Section 1983 unreasonable use of force. Prior to Professional Claims Managers, Mr. Gaddy adjusted claims involving claims involving 18-wheelers. These claims ranged from light fender benders to serious wrongful death. Mr. Gaddy’s focus was claims in the continental United States. Mr. Gaddy created and was part of the Rapid Response Team for one major trucking organization requiring he be at the site of a death within 24 hours of the occurrence. Mr. Gaddy has spoken at several conferences on topics involving civil rights, claims adjusting, and litigation management. Mr. Gaddy received his law degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 1994. He is a member of the State Bars of Texas and New Mexico and is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He is also a licensed insurance adjuster.

Samantha Drum is an Attorney in the Personal Injury Department at Singleton Schreiber New Mexico, where she advocates for clients affected by car accidents, trucking accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, medical malpractice, instances of wrongful death, and other personal injury matters. Robert J. Sánchez is a Senior Counsel in the Fire Litigation practice group in the New Mexico offices of Singleton Schreiber, where he draws upon his experience litigating complex civil disputes across many subject areas, including catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death, professional liability, medical malpractice, products liability, construction defect, construction bond claims, insurance bad faith, premise liability, and appellate law.

Jacob Payne is a senior counsel in our New Mexico offices and a member of both our Fire Litigation and our Personal Injury and Wrongful Death practice groups. Brian S. Tyson grew up in Valencia County raising livestock for 4-H and FFA, while working in his parent small business. While not always appreciating the hard work as a child he grew to respect the lessons of hard work and dedication to create the best quality of work. Tyson worked in his parents small business as they first opened the doors though college. This gave him an understanding of the hard work and pride New Mexicans put into their businesses and that there is rarely an actual day off for a business owner. This is why he is passionate about helping small businesses grow and protect everything they have worked for. This includes passing your life's work to your heirs as you see fit and not how a court or others may see fit. Tyson graduated with bachelor’s from the University of New Mexico, Anderson School of Business with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Studies. He eventually wanted to make even more of an impact on his community and decided to attend law school. Tyson attended Arizona Summit School of Law where he was able to graduate a semester early. During that time, he volunteered to teach children in underprivileged schools and detention centers. Tyson currently lives with his wife and five rescue dogs in their East Mountain home.

Margaret Moses Branch is married to Turner W. Branch, senior partner of the Branch Law Firm. Ms. Branch is the managing partner. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and International Women’s Forum, named Woman of the Year in 1995. She serves on the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Center for Civic Values (Interest on Legal Trust Accounts). She was Chair of the Association of Trial Lawyers Women’s Law Caucus (5,000 members) and was founding President of the New Mexico Women’s Bar Association. She has been a frequent lecturer on Continuing Legal Education programs for attorneys. Ms. Branch has served as Vice-Chair of the Association of Trial Lawyers of the America Tobacco Litigation Group. In her practice, Margaret Moses Branch has been particularly interested in women’s health issues. She has served on the Executive Committee of the Failure to Diagnose Breast Cancer ATLA Litigation Group. She was moderator for the National College of Advocacy, Medical-Legal Update Seminar, for the section entitled “Medicine and the Law: Special Issues Facing Women.” Ms. Branch served as a moderator of the ATLA National College of Advocacy, “Litigating Women’s Health Issues”. She has served as counsel in cases that involved failure to diagnose breast cancer, colon cancer, uterine cancer, pancreatitis, leukoplakia, peritonitis, appendicitis, compartment syndrome, aneurysms, pneumonia, meningitis, abruptio placenta, kernicterus, and other illnesses and diseases. She has been involved in cases that addressed issues of surgical negligence, i.e., laminectomies, cholecystectomies, colonoscopies, hernia repairs, and hip replacements. Additionally, she has been involved in cases that dealt with obstetrical issues, i.e., failure to perform timely Caesarean sections, inappropriate radiological procedures, unnecessary hysterectomies, and incomplete abortions.
