Isabella C. Martinez Bond is a bilingual attorney fluent in both Spanish and English. She is licensed to practice in Texas and South Carolina. She began her professional journey by serving five years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. After completing her military service, Isabella earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and later obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, Isabella gained valuable legal experience in a variety of settings. She worked at a firm specializing in personal injury and civil litigation, clerked with the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of General Counsel, and interned with a nonprofit organization assisting crime victims in applying for U-visas, T-visas, and VAWA petitions. Timothy “Tim” Nicolette became an attorney because his father believed he would be a great one. That kind of faith has a way of shaping a person. Tim has spent his career working to prove his father right, and along the way, he found something that made the work feel personal: personal injury law. His first job out of law school was with a personal injury firm, and it didn’t take long to understand why this area of law matters so much. The people who walk through the door have already been through something hard. Then they run into an insurance company that treats them like a number rather than a neighbor. Brandi Hinton's first experience arguing cases took place before she even had a license to practice, when she participated on the Moot Court Board and Student Trial Lawyers Association at Charleston School of Law. She began her career clerking for the Honorable Mikell R. Scarborough in Charleston County at the height of the foreclosure crisis, on a docket full of people facing the worst financial stretch of their lives. She then spent eight years at the 13th Circuit Solicitor's Office in Greenville and Pickens counties, where she handled thousands of cases and tried more than 25 of them, including armed robbery, burglary, domestic violence, drug trafficking, bank robbery, and fraud. Brandi later served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina alongside her partner, Sloan Ellis. She was assigned to the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, where she prosecuted large-scale drug trafficking. She also handled racketeering cases, known as RICO, along with the violent crimes charged alongside them, and complex financial cases including wire fraud, money laundering, and Paycheck Protection Program fraud. She was one of the prosecutors on the largest federal racketeering conspiracy in South Carolina history, and she received the 2021 U.S. Attorney's Award for excellence in prosecution. She has worked alongside Sloan Ellis at nearly every stage of her career, and she knows exactly how to prepare a case for trial. Having tried cases from the other side, she also knows which ones a prosecutor is ready to put in front of a jury and which ones they would rather resolve. Anthony McCollum has spent nearly eight years prosecuting criminal cases for the Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor's Office. As an Assistant Solicitor there, he handled thousands of cases, ranging from property crimes to white collar crimes, taking several of them to verdict. His career inside the solicitor's office started in 2012. Shortly after graduating from The Citadel, he joined the Fifth Circuit Solicitor's Office in Columbia, first as an intern and then as a law clerk, where he worked while attending law school at the University of South Carolina. By the time he was licensed to practice, he had already spent more than five years watching the state build criminal cases and learning how things were run behind the scenes. He moved to the Upstate in 2018 and, after a short period in private practice in Greenville, joined the Thirteenth Circuit in January 2019. Anthony comes to Ironside Criminal Defense having seen firsthand how the government and the judicial system operate. He knows the prosecutors, the investigators, and the officers who work the other side of a file, and he knows exactly how a case looks to the person deciding what to do with it. What he cares about most is what comes next for the client: understanding the charge, understanding the options, and having someone to speak for them while they work through it.

This division of lawyers focuses solely on advocating for and defending those people facing the potential of the death penalty. The time spent in this role is what sparked Chad’s desire to focus his career in criminal defense. After graduating from law school, Chad joined the 13th Circuit Public Defender’s Office as an Assistant Public Defender in the Greenville Office where he continued to work until ultimately being promoted to Deputy Public Defender of the Pickens County Public Defender’s Office. When he is not working, Chad can be found spending time with his wife and two young children, enjoying the outdoors, attempting to master the intricacies of cooking good barbeque, or passionately rooting for the Atlanta Braves.

Chris Edwards is the managing attorney for the Upstate of South Carolina office of Moss & Associates Attorneys, PA. Chris served in the military before attending the University of South Carolina where he obtained his A.S. and B.A. degrees. After his undergraduate studies, Chris worked in public safety in Charleston, SC before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. His first job as an attorney was for Moore, Taylor & Thomas in West Columbia, SC where he practiced criminal, civil, and family law. Now, Chris' practice involves filing Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 Bankruptcies for individuals and businesses. Attorney W. Chris Castro is a solo practitioner and the founder of the Castro Law Firm, LLC located in Greenville, South Carolina. Chris enlisted in the South Carolina Army National Guard in 1988 and went on to attend and graduate from the Palmetto Military Academy Officer Candidate School. He was subsequently commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the South Carolina Army National Guard. Chris currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the North Carolina Army National Guard. During his twenty-eight years in the military Chris has served three active duty deployments with the United States Army. Two of these deployments were to the combat zones of Kuwait and Afghanistan. Chris was most recently deployed from 2015-2016 to Kosovo, a former province of the Republic of Yugoslavia. Chris continues to serve today as a Lieutenant Colonel in the North Carolina National Guard. After law school Chris practiced law in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for several years. He served as a contract public defender for two years representing clients in the Georgetown County Court of General Sessions. While living in Myrtle Beach Chris practiced law in Horry and Georgetown Counties in the areas of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Family Law, and Veterans Disability Law.
