Accident & Injury
Timothy “Tim” Nicolette became an attorney because his father believed he would be a great one. That kind of faith has a way of shaping a person. Tim has spent his career working to prove his father right, and along the way, he found something that made the work feel personal: personal injury law. His first job out of law school was with a personal injury firm, and it didn’t take long to understand why this area of law matters so much. The people who walk through the door have already been through something hard. Then they run into an insurance company that treats them like a number rather than a neighbor. Tim stays in this fight because he believes those people deserve better, and because he knows how to go up against the giants on their behalf. Tim is the youngest of five siblings, all of whom share the same first initial: Travis, Trey, Tara, Taylor, and Tim. In November 2025, he married his wife Ashley, and he’s quick to say it was the greatest day of his life. He credits her love and support as a foundation for everything he’s been able to accomplish. When Tim isn’t working a case, you might find him at Hall’s Chophouse, which he’ll recommend to anyone who asks for a great meal in Greenville without hesitation.

Chad Propst has successfully represented numerous clients charged with an array of offenses, including driving under the influence, drug charges, domestic violence, criminal sexual conduct, murder, and everything in between. Throughout his career practicing criminal defense, Chad has developed a strong recognition for the fact that when a person is facing criminal charges, however serious, their family, children, and friends are affected too. At stake is a person’s liberty, as well as their personal and professional reputations. No one should face the stress and burdens of criminal charges alone. Chad understands that an experienced criminal defense attorney is essential to providing aggressive and zealous representation from the beginning of an investigation to ensure that his client’s liberties are fully protected and the very best outcome is able to be achieved. Chad is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Greenville County Bar, the Greenville Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. While in law school, Chad competed in Moot Court, was a member of the Federal Courts Law Review, and was an articles editor for MALABU, the Maritime Law Bulletin. During law school, Chad received CALI awards, given to the student who achieves the highest grade in their class, in Legal Writing and Research, Historic Preservation Law, and Criminal Law. While in law school, worked with the South Carolina Commission on Indigent Defense in the Division of Capital Defenders. This division of lawyers focuses solely on advocating for and defending those people facing the potential of the death penalty. The time spent in this role is what sparked Chad’s desire to focus his career in criminal defense. After graduating from law school, Chad joined the 13th Circuit Public Defender’s Office as an Assistant Public Defender in the Greenville Office where he continued to work until ultimately being promoted to Deputy Public Defender of the Pickens County Public Defender’s Office. David grew up in Greenville and has seen our city grow exponentially. He is very proud to call Greenville his home. He is the founder of the Greene Law Firm and has been practicing law for over 45 years. He graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in physics and continued that discipline at Florida State University where he earned his M. S. and Ph. D. degrees in Experimental Molecular Physics. He then obtained his J. D. degree in law, also from FSU and was admitted to the State Bar in 1977. In 1984 David opened his own practice and, since 1995, has specialized in the Tax Problem Resolution field. David’s extensive knowledge of mathematics helps him give his clients a distinct advantage in resolving their IRS problems. At the end of the day his passion and what excites him is seeing the clients happy with the solution that has been obtained for them and knowing they are “getting their life back.” The IRS Problem Resolution practice provided a natural progression into the field of Estate Planning, because he learned that so many people do not know how to preserve and organize their assets for their spouses, children and other loved ones. He has helped many clients form Trusts and other Estate Planning documents that assure that their assets are protected and are passed to their heirs in the manner they wish. David is married and has one adult daughter, Brittany, who has her BA from Clemson and MBA degree from Liberty University. He is a member of the Greenville County Bar, The South Carolina Bar, the American Association for Justice and the South Carolina Association for Justice. He is also a member of a national tax problem resolution group, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers. He is admitted to practice before all South Carolina Courts, the Federal Courts and the U. S. Tax Court. Outside of the office you can usually find David at the family farm where he and his family enjoy spending time with his horse, dogs, cat and parrot. When he has time, David’s other hobby is photography and videography. In the fall David’s favorite thing is to attend or watch Clemson football. He and Jean also love to have Brittany visit from her home in Charlotte or go to visit her. David and his family are active members of Scenic Hills Baptist Church where he serves as the church’s legal counsel.
