A native of Rhode Island, Damon graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, School of Medicine, where he developed a wide breadth of knowledge in the areas of biological, physiological, and anatomical anomalies including a solid understanding of the complex and intricate effects various disabilities can have on a person’s ability to function throughout their daily lives. Applying his legal acumen gained at Roger Williams University School of Law, he takes a hard line stance against insurance companies while fighting for the rights of his injured clients. Damon is a proven fighter, who lives by the mantra: reliable, relentless, results. His never give up attitude served him well during his accomplished career in law enforcement which includes multiple commendations; service as a SWAT team member; a field training officer; and election as President of the I.B.P.O./NAGE Union Local 489. His many years of service as a police officer provided him with a practical hands-on education and an intimate insight into criminal law and procedure that could not be attained through text books alone. He is also a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, National Italian American Bar Association, Rhode Island Bar Association, The Federalist Society, and the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternal Brotherhood. In his spare time he enjoys the everlasting pursuit of the perfect pizza and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and twin boys.

Richard spent years as the Vice President, Litigation Counsel for the Fidelity National Law Group in Boston MA where he acted as the Trial attorney in Massachusetts and Rhode Island Superior Courts to clear title issues for commercial and residential real estate. As the Principal and Trial attorney at Moses, Alfonso & Ryan, Richard advised the non-profit community based mental health providers and private schools on issues involving confidentiality of healthcare information, school records and corporate disputes. While there he also handled business disputes and construction industry actions. Richard has tried cases in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island state and federal courts. He is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School for Juris Doctor and he received a Batchelor of Architecture from University of Notre Dame. Richard currently is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, U.S. District Court in both Rhode Island and in Massachusetts districts.
