Robert Rymek, Attorney

Mr. Rymek began his legal career in private practice and in 1991 was selected to serve as staff counsel to the Appellate Court.

As a result of his outstanding work with the Appellate Court, in 1997, the governor appointed Mr. Rymek to serve as an Administrative Law Judge.

After several years of public service as an Administrative Law Judge, Mr. Rymek returned to the private practice of law in 2000. Since returning to private practice he successfully engaged in complex litigation and business planning for a wide variety of individuals and businesses.

Despite Mr. Rymek's success as a litigator, he realizes that all too often the costs and stress of litigation results in neither party truly being a "winner."  As such, Mr. Rymek often develops innovative litigation avoidance techniques for his clients to help them avoid the stress and expense of needless litigation.

Mr. Rymek is a firm believer that proper business planning, contracting, and negotiation are crucial to the success of his clients and encourages clients to contact him before they enter into any large transactions or business agreements.  This allows the client to work with Mr. Rymek to take appropriate steps to avoid legal problems before they arise, rather than wasting time and money trying to solve problems which could have been easily avoided with proper legal counsel.

Mr. Rymek also actively seeks to give back to the community by, among other things, teaching Appellate Advocacy at McGeorge School of Law, serving as a Mediator for the California Superior and Appellate Courts, and serving on the City of Roseville's Board of Appeals.
